Michael Tobias Design (MTD) specializes in basses with a great emphasis on sound, playability, and of course the look of each instrument. These aren't your standard stock basses - an MTD bass is made from carefully sourced woods, uses quality parts, and goes through a rigorous process of checks and extensive playtesting to make sure you are getting an instrument that is built to last and built to handle the demands that performing players face every day. Michael Tobias boasts an incredible resume of accomplishments and is one of the most experienced builders out there, having been showcasing his skills since 1974.
