The Audix D2 Drum Microphone is an excellent choice for instruments where punch and warmth are required within the mix, including toms, congas, guitar cabinets and brass. Saxophones and other woodwinds also respond well to the D2's natural warmth. The Audix D2 is a dynamic hypercardioid drum and instrument microphone that has a warm contoured response for added bottom and punch.

Features include VLM noise rejection capsule, compact design for easy placement and is milled from a solid block of aluminum for reduced height and greater durability. The Audix D2 drum mic is a great mic for toms, all the way from large to small. Its contoured response puts a little emphasis down low and up top, while still letting the mids sound open and full.
