Gretchen SchultzGretchen Schultz is a singer/songwriter who has been touring the East Coast with local Philly and now national artist, Christine Havrilla, as a backing vocalist/percussion player for the better part of 9 years. Gretchen has also expanded working with several local bands stopping at a number of venues including the Tin Angel, World Café Live Philly & The Queen, MusikFest, Pa Arts Fest, and many more.

After a decade of touring as a supporting musician with various local and national bands in the roles of backing vocalist and percussionist, Schultz is now emerging into the spotlight with the release of her debut album “Not Afraid to Fall.” Featuring a variety of styles from rock, jazz to alterative country, “Not Afraid to Fall” is described by Schultz as a culmination of many different experiences she has had over the past ten to fifteen years of her life.

Schultz's voice is her first instrument, "like sweet and salty, her unique jazzy sound of yesterday mixes well with her edgy lyrics of today." Joining her on the album are Michael DeAngelis on drums and Michael Rampone on bass, as well as a guest appearance by touted folk artist Tracy Grammer on her violin on “This Love.”
