The addition of fresh N3 noiseless pickups, designed specifically for improving tones, modern updates, upgraded bridges, and fine craftsmanship proves why this new series of Fender's guitar is so deluxe. As of 2010, all American Deluxe series guitars feature tinted maple necks, advanced playability improvements, and polished chrome or gold-plated hardware.

Upgraded Features

The Fender Precision Bass, Jazz Bass, and Jazz Bass V in the American Deluxe Series deliver the same modern features, but with some beefed up additions to better suit the needs of bassists. Improved electronics, N3 noiseless pickups, and newly designed preamp circuitry that let you switch between active and passive tones are just some of the wicked cool upgrades.

Increased Comfort

To reduce the risk of hand fatigue and cramping, Fender upgraded these bass with rolled fingerboard edges and contoured heels. Their asymmetrical neck profiles allow for silky-smooth playability and easier access to upper frets.

Loaded With Style

The Fender American Deluxe Series took the articulation and sparkle of their basses and combined that with vintage-style saddles to maintain a classic vibe. The alder bodies, rosewood fingerboards, chrome hardware, and gloss polyurethane neck finishes dress these models in ultimate style and beauty.
