With the LTD AP-4 Black Metal, ESP started with a traditionally-styled body, but then took things in a new, high-performance direction that only ESP can offer. The AP-4 has the great playing feel and the professional components that make it a winner by any definition. It begins with a classic bolt-on design, with an alder body and smooth, thin U-shaped maple neck at 34" scale. The AP-4 offers a single active EMG 35CS pickup and volume control. It offers an ebony fingerboard with 21 extra-jumbo frets, reliable Grover tuners, and a Babicz FCH-4 bridge for terrific tone and sustain power.
