An elegant instrument with a striking bound top, the Limited Edition Postmodern Telecaster Journeyman Relic combines classic elements with modern features that should entice any player to pick it up. The two-piece body is crafted from Okoume selected for its weight and grain, and its Journeyman Relic lacquer finish gives it the look and feel of a well-loved original piece while letting the wood breathe with more sustain and wearing in a personal style.
Fast-playing and supple, the tinted quartersawn maple neck sports a comfortable “ ‘60s-Style Oval C”-shaped profile and hosts a 9.5” to 12” compound radius round-lam maple fingerboard with 21 narrow-jumbo frets for a contemporary playing experience.
A pair of Hand Wound Texas Special™ Telecaster single-coil pickups are built to produce blistering hot output, with noticeable presence and midrange. They are tied to Fat ‘50s Telecaster wiring and a Greasebucket tone control, so you can roll off the highs without losing volume.
