The Lexicon MX300 is a 2-in, 2-out processor that combines an intuitive front-panel design with Lexicon's "Hardware Plug-In" technology, a unique USB connection and VST/AU interface for use with software recording platforms.
From studio to stage, the Lexicon MX300 delivers richer, more sophisticated reverb to bring out the unique character & complexity of vocals, drums and
guitar in your mix!
The MX300 features a wide array of rich, complex reverb algorithms, delays, effects and dbx Professional Products dynamics that make it an ideal package equally suited for the home studio or live use. In any application, the MX300 provides a versatile sonic signature that is unmistakably Lexicon.
The MX300 has removed the compromises associated with using hardware in the home studio environment. The USB
Hardware Plug-In format allows users to have complete plug-in control over their MX300 within any VST or Audio Units software environment, enabling users to control all automation and recall parameters exactly as they would with any software plug-in.
Equally at home for live applications, the MX300 supplies the FOH/live sound engineer an intuitive front panel control with a backlit LCD screen for parameter displays. A 2-in, 2-out design, the MX300 series offer unprecedented connectivity through both XLR and TRS balanced connectors as well as digital S/PDIF.
Choose from five effects routing options
The MX300 lets you switch effect routings easily via front panel controls, so you don’t have to spend time behind your rack changing cables. Dual Mono sends the Left and Right input signals through Effect 1 and Effect 2 respectively. Each signal is then routed to its respective output, completely independent from the other. Cascade (Series) sends Left and Right input signals first through Effect 1, then through Effect 2, and then routed as a stereo signal to their respective outputs. Dual Stereo (Parallel) routes Left and Right input signals through both effects independently. Both Effects’ output signals are then mixed together, and routed to both the outputs as a single stereo signal.
Mono Split sends Left input signal through Effect 1, while the Right input signal is sent through Effect 2. The output signals of both Effects are then mixed together, and routed to both the outputs as a single stereo signal.
Stereo routing provides a single stereo effect path for Left and Right signals. This routing removes one of the effect modules for users requiring a streamlined signal path with only a single effect for their needs — but taking advantage of all of the MX300’s processing horsepower.
