Crafted with solid Indian rosewood back and sides, the GT 811 guitar has a deep bass response with a scooped midrange and sparkling high end. The solid Sitka Spruce top is super versatile, great for fingerpicking and light to moderate strumming. The custom 24 1/8” scale length makes it super easy and comfortable to play and evokes an amazing amount of sound for an instrument it’s size.
Stunning 800 series appointments include maple binding, crelicam ebony fingerboard and bridge, abalone rosette, element mother of pearl fretboard and peghead inlays, and smoked nickel mini tuning machines. Ultra-thin gloss finish on the body and peghead overlay help round out this stunning instrument. Guitar ships in a super sturdy, lightweight Aerocase, allowing for easy travel if needed.
Presenting the all new GT 811 (grand theater) acoustic guitar from Taylor Guitars master guitar designer Andy Powers. This totally original body shape introduces an amazing new guitar that balances a compact design with a full bodied acoustic tone. The guitar is based on Taylor’s Grand Orchestra body shape and scaled down to create a shape that sits between the Grand Concert and the GS mini. All solid wood construction produces full, lush tones boosted by Andy’s new C-class bracing design, based on the principles of the award winning V class bracing.
