Overview

Victory Amplification is excited to update the V30 MKII The Jack to include a wooden sleeved version to the compact family. The V30 MKII Jack is a 42-watt, two-channel, three-mode, all-valve guitar amplifier. The V30MKII Jack is evolved from the V30 Countess, Victory’s first ever Compact Series head that was developed with the help of Guthrie Govan in 2013.

Renowned for their exceptional craftsmanship and unbeatable portability, our customers now have the option to choose between our classic lunchbox style heads or the all-new wooden sleeved heads for the V30 MKII Jack. Originally developed with Guthrie Govan as his ‘flying amp’, the V30 MKII features an all-new Clean-channel Crunch mode and the footswitchable ‘Nomod’ function to offer two levels of bass response.

The original V30 has very distinct clean and overdrive channels. There is massive headroom and clarity in the former, with a ton of heavy rocking overdrive in the latter. With V30MKII, we’ve added an extra footswitchable crunch mode to the clean channel – developed for V130 The Super Jack– that offers a whole new palette of pushed clean, crunch and light overdrive tones to the party. Along with the new ‘Nomod’ function, the V30 is now the ultimate ultra-compact all-rounder.

All the features and sounds from the original V30 MKII Jack are present but there are leather corners, a leather handle and a deluxe Victory logo, adding an extra layer of British hand made quality to the family.

Two channels for chiming, high-headroom clean tones & huge, modern-rock-ready gain
Simple 3-Band EQ works in tandem with the “Nomod” function for thicker or more articulate tones
Footswitchable “Nomod” function controls low-end resonance for a tighter feel, especially nice for heavy overdriven sounds
Crunch mode, also footswitchable, adds a gain stage to the clean channel to give you that pushed, light overdrive sound
Each channel has its own dedicated Master Output to balance levels as needed
Preheat switch offers a low-power mode, taking 42 watts all the way down to 7 watts RMS for lower volume or for different textures of drive and compression when gigging or recording
External Bias test & adjustment points for ease and speed
Series Effects Loop sits between the pre and power stages to keep desired effects clean
