The Taylor Guitars Edition 326ce Grand Symphony from Taylor is an amazing new design from master luthier and guitar designer Andy Powers. With the added Soundport cutaway design, the guitar creates greater sonic dispersion for the player and creates a whole new playing experience. Visually the guitar has a dusky aesthetic with features that will appeal to players looking for a more rootsy vibe. Urban Ash is similar to a top tier mahogany and has a nice, full midrange with woody overtones.
Add in the tropical mahogany top and you get an incredibly versatile guitar that is both warm and powerful at the same time. This Grand Symphony has a 24 7/8” scale length and comes strung with Elixir light gauge strings, making it easy to play and adding more warmth to the low end. With a satin finish, urban sienna color treatment, shaded edge burst top, and black satin tuning machines, the 326ce is an understated beauty that celebrate the wood’s sustainability and tonal appeal.
