Product Description

Record, stop and play with unlimited overdubs, the Digitech JamMan Express XT Looper Pedal uses a simple and compact pedal design that can be powered on a 9V battery or optional power supply for convenient use on any pedalboard. Convenient LEDs offer visual representation of the mode in use and the undo function ensures you won’t have to restart from the beginning of your layered loops when a part isn’t perfect or when you want to backtrack during a performance.
Digitech JamMan Express XT Looper Pedal Features

  • 10 minutes of Stereo recording time
  • True-bypass, JamSync and Silent Clear
  • Separate LEDs for Record, Overdub, and Play Status
  • Unlimited Overdubs with Undo and Redo
  • Works with 9V battery or 9VDC Power Supply (sold separately)
  • Durable metal chassis and footswitch
  • 24-bit 44.1kHz sample rate
The DigiTech JamMan Express XT is the most full featured compact looper on the market. It’s simple, small, and verify sophisticated. With true-bypass, nearly 10 minutes of stereo looping, Silent Clear, and JamSync the Express XT is a perfect looper for your pedalboard or addition to your JamMan XT looping set-up. It’s incredibly easy to use with dedicated LEDs clearly showing its status. The Express XT works right out of the box using a 9V battery (included) or you can power it with an optional power supply.

When looping, timing is everything; JamSync takes care of it. JamSync automatically synchronizes with another Express XT or JamMan Solo XT allowing you to create independent yet perfectly synchronized loops. Using JamSync you can build a custom multi-track looper or build loops with your band. The Express XT is the first looper to feature DigiTech’s new Silent Clear feature. The Express XT automatically recognizes when you press to clear the loop and stops the loop from playing through your amp. Silent Clear saves you from reaching over to turn down your amp or your looper while you clear it.

General
Your general opinion of this product.
Versus the TC Ditto (& I've used one/like it alot), the simple fact that you can see the status lights beyond your foot gives the Digitech, for my use, an edge.
Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
Seems rugged enough...I don't intend to torture it.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
Volume/mix knob is large enough that you could probably change it with your foot, but with some common sense, the mix can easily be matched to your input signal, & left alone.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
It gives back what you put into it.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
Footswitch, jacks, & control knob all seem sturdy.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
Typical, decent stompbox finish.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
It's safely secured on a small pedalboard...so I expect it to last quite a while.
