I am totally impressed with the quality and workmanship. I was not so sure that the extra price of the American version would be worth it. It totally is! The fretwork is perfect. It arrived set-up and intonated. Feels sturdy and playability is exceptional.

I love that it has the graphite supported neck. Also love the new pickups in the 2012 version. Looks great, plays great, sounds great. What more could you want?

Best bass purchase I've ever made, hands down.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Nice solid sound. Very versatile between the tone control and the pickup blending. I prefer these nice passive pickups to the active pickup sound, but that's just me. It does everything I need it to do beautifully and with no complications.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
Flawless. Olympic White, Tortoise pickguard, maple neck. Simply beautiful.
