What is your overall opinion of this product?
This was bought for my daughter in purple and she loves it.
What is your opinion of the quality of this product? How does it work for different genres of music?
This is very playable and the two different pickups make it great for different styles of music.
Are the features on the product what you were expecting? What are your favorite features?
Each string has a separate adjustment barrel on the bridge which is needed for the best intonation across the fretboard.
Heavy, fast, chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
It has a thin fast type neck with a very simple three knob setup.
How is the tone? Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick or thin?
The P pickup has that classic sound while the jazz pickup adds a snappy growl.
How did the stain or paint job look?
Very smooth and professional.
Did you get what you were expecting for the price? How does it compare to similar products in the same price range?
This has more features and adjustments than a Fender Mustang.
How was the action out of the box?
It was setup right out of the box. I did do some very minor bridge intonation adjustments with the included alien wrench.
