Be careful about mis-threading a microphone clip. The steel thread lock is acceptable, but if you have the money, replace it with an oversize thread lock made of plated brass from Latch Lake or AEA. Features: With mods, you can make this even better: (i) use 3/4" color heat shrink to ID each stand as your own (ii) add velcro ties to hold cords (better than the plastic cord holders that come with the stand); (ii) plug leg end near center pivot with expandable foam, fill legs with oven-dried sand or steel shot to increase weight, and plug other legend with foam.
