Just got a 40th C1 and case from Schecter and its gorgeous! Swamp ash body, 5 piece maple wenge neck, Pasadena plus pickups, coil tap, locking tuners . . . . fit and finish is superb! Cranked it up through a fender supersonic 22, lawd have mercy just audio bliss, very dynamic and responds to every nuance of your playing. The pickups have thunder and are very responsive, kind of Seymour, but not quite; kind of dimarzio but better, they are their own unique distinct sweetness. Just a magnificent and superbly put together custom shop axe from Schecter which wins the Oscar for best anniversary guitar for 2016. The case is outstanding and very well crafted perfect for protecting this fab axe!

    Absolutely Stunning
What is your opinion of this product?
I am an intermediate hobbyist electric bass player. Recently, I decided that I also wanted to give electric guitar a try as well, and this is the guitar that I chose. I just received it today, and played with it for about an hour or so. My (completely amateur) verdict is that it is in bad need of a proper set-up. Since I'm new to guitar, I can't tell you much about how the pups sound compared to other guitar pups. But the guitar did get dirty and growly when I put it through my distorted channel, and was really smooth on the clean channel. The swamp ash body and the flamed maple top both appear to be book matched to the neck. The pictures on the website just don't do this guitar justice. My only complaint is that there is no owner's manual included, or at the Schecter website. Normally I do my own set-ups on my basses, but I think I will have this done professionally. I gave it four stars because of the missing paperwork, but the build quality is top notch.

Actually receiving it tomorrow. AMS first reorder of these, what can I say-stainless steel frets, 12"-16"fret radius, neck through, wood and More Wood, anniversary Pasadena pickups, a laundry list of features, haven't played it yet...good wine is worth the wait!
