The Shure A2WS Locking Microphone Windscreen is designed to reduce unwanted breath and wind noise without affecting the sound quality. With acoustically transparent material, the Shure A2WS designed for SM57 mics is particularly effective in reducing pops and ticks caused by talking or singing closely into the microphone as well as reducing wind noise when using the microphones in outdoor applications. The Shure windscreen locks securely to the microphone with a side set screw. For use with Shure SM57 and 545 Series microphones.
