Mild to Wild Pitch Correction Processing
VoiceTone C1 has clean, transparent correction capability with unique control of musical input via the guitar input if desired. When transparency isn't your bag, cranking the attack and gender controls will turn the C1's pitch correction into the robotic modern effect heard everywhere.

As Simple As Plugging In Your Mic
Gaining access to the studio quality sounds and intelligent processing of VoiceTone singles is as simple as plugging in your mic and turning the effect on. Of course, you can always change the style or the amount of effect, but you shouldn’t need to unfold the manual unless you’re making a fire.

Strong family genes
Each VoiceTone single shares the same genes: a clean, quiet mic preamp that rivals high-end touring mixers, a die-cast metal case, rubberized no-slip base, studio quality analog to digital conversion, and the same quality processing you’d expect from our flagship vocal processors like VoiceLive 2.

Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
TC Helicon makes some of the World's most durable and thoughtful units from their original larger rack gear to these newer stompbox models which dish out the different components of the guns that feature all of them in one unit. I would rely on this and any of their gear without a backup. Gear can go bad any time for whatever reason(s)but I would depend on this unit to get by.
Features
What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could?
The best feature of this unit is the subtleness that pitch correction provides. This effect produced by any unit from any brand works best but guiding a less than stellar voice like mine. More over I like to use pitch correction as a n effect on a good singing voice. It adds modern flare to any voice. It will do the so called Cher thing which really Cher's effect was more vocoding with pitch correction as opposed to getting that R&B and Boy Band pitch sound that is so familiar of late 1990's and 00's. This will do that and much more into weird possesive sounding voices for Halloween fun. One thing that would benfit any of these TC Helicon pedals would be a jack to plug a foot switch or CV pedal where there footswitch is so that you could mount the pedal on your mic stand or music stand so that you could adjust the controls without bending over or in real time. There are times when I need to do that or for effect.
Ease of Use
How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be?
Right out of the box you can set and forget and get going with whatever pitch correction you need. The unit provides me with the desired subtle effect I need to help guide my voice on key. It also helps a lot that all these TC pedals have impeccable mic pre amps for clean sound.
Sound
How is the tone?
The tone is very clean and can be adjusted with the on board knob which also features a ground lift in case of that annoying buzz you will more than likely get from bad electrical circuits. If you use TC Helicon Mics they will also offer nice integrated control of the unit.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
This is the second C1 pedal I have owned. I sold my first one to make way for the TC Helicon Voiceplay GTX which I ended up selling too while I was not in a gig where I needed to be a vocalist. I use this unit together with the H1 harmony pedal and either a combination of reverb and/or delay on my mixing board. I plan on getting the reverb and delay TC pedals at some point.
Overall
Your general opinion of this product.
I am generally very happy with this unit and the H1 pedal. When TC Helicon announced that they were making these pedals and speading out the different components from the larger rack units like Voiceworks I was pleased as punch. I have owned several different of the bigger units from TC and Digitech and they all have been fabulous and this unit is perfect for the small vocal work that I do.

Seems to work good on auto correct for our singer. turned down at a minimal setting it gives just a little bit of protection if a vocal strays flat or sharp.
