Very satisfied with Audio-Technica Pro8HE, I’m a drummer and help with backing vocals and lead sometimes as well. Very comfortable fit with an easy adjustable mic. No trouble with feedback or crossover. If you’re looking for a quality headset mic at a very reasonable price then I recommend this unit. AMS is my first go to for any music equipment and or instruments from now on!

Fits and sounds Great

Product Review
I had one of these for years as a drummer. I chose it because of the larger size mouthpiece that offers a better overall sound. It stays put on my head no matter how rigorous I am playing. The only thing I would add is a mute button for times I am not singing.

For years I tried to play drums and sing into a vocal microphone attached to a boom. Somehow it was always in the way. This is the answer to my prayer. Sounds awesome! No battery packs to hook up, no converters. Plug in XLR and go. Perfect.

I enjoy having the mic. I no longer worry about working a mic stand into my drum kit set up. The mic stays where I need it to be. Also find it to be. comfortable. Thank you AMS for providing so many choices, and for making it easier to afford quality equipment.

This unit is comfortable, stays where I put it, works around my glasses. The cable is not overly bulky, helping maintain position during long sessions. I like the quality of sound production. For me it works equally well behind my drum kit or playing guitar.

Your general opinion of this product.
Hands Free use and good sound, in a nonwireless, was what I was looking for. This is it.
Audio-technica mics it seems well made.
Just p;ug into the mixer or snake and your good to go.
As with all Audio-technica mics it seems more feedback resistant than other brands.
Excellent vocal reproduction. Sensative to the point I had to use one of the included windscreens to eliminate breathing sounds.

Great Headset

Easy and quick no mic stand needed to play instruments. We use two of these through a mini battery mixer into a battery vox 3 mini amp for practice when on trips/beach etc.
The mic picks up well and doesn't get feedback easily. They don't sound quite as good as an EV hand held mic but for easy use they are great.

easy to use, simple to put on and adjust. Carries decent sound quality and plugs straight into my Roland VP550 for vocal effects like choruses and vocoding. Its too much fun, and this mic gets it done at a reasonable price point

Good headset starter mic.

I've had it for 6 years & still using it. For an inexpensive mic it's never cut out or given me any problems.
Uses a standard XLR jack & has a flexible mic boom. Mic cable clip to your shirt, would prefur a belt clip. Tends to slide around if your hair is wet. Boom droops over time.
Plug & Play. It's that easy.
It sounds a little megaphone-ish & tin can-ish. Fine for backing vocals, but not leads. I have a deep voice & it deosn't pick up the low frequencies very well.

I am very pleased with this headset mic. I use it while playing guitar, I taped my guitar cord and the mic. cord together every 6 inches so I have to only deal with one wire instead of two,
I am pleased with it's utility in a live setting.

Good Entry Level Drummer Mic

Your general opinion of this product.
QUALITY:
The actual headset of the mic is similar to the inexpesnsive 10 buck headset you would use for your walkman; however, my son has yet to destroy it!
FEATURES:
I think that if the boom arm was not only adjustable up and down but "in and out" like the shure it would be perfect
EASE OF USE:
My son uses this mic while he plays the drums. Sometimes, he was to adjust the mic so that it is in the right spot with his mouth.
VALUE:
definately worth the value! The boom arm has taken a couple little dings with the drum sticks (especially when he is getting into the music) but this headset keeps going.
SOUND:
Fairly nice sound from this mic. The mic will pick up some of the noise from his drums....but come on...he is singing and playing the drums.
STYLE:
Southern Gospel
OVERALL:
Been very pleased with this mic. My son uses it to sing while playing the drums (southern
