Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
It's built real well, very solid.Great tactile feel overall.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
This product is just like every product that I've owned by Boss/Roland...It's never let me down, gig after gig!
General
Your general opinion of this product.
I'm impressed! And I've owned all of the multi fx pedals. I'm very obssessed about my guitar tone and the effects that I use. I've been playing professionally now for over 30 years. I play in three very successful corporate bands and my gear has to be evrything that I expect. I've had monster rack systems for years and in the past 10 years have just stuck with a very basic setup, my Multi-fx pedalboard fed directly into my amp(s) and I'm always getting compliments about my sound and effective use of the pedals I use. This upgrade from the GT10 is by far the best one a pro musician could want. Easy to use, easy to navigate through, very good effects and Amp models. As realistic as you could expect from a rack setup but without the weight and footprint on stage. Get this pedal if you're serious about tone, ease of use, and it's reasonably priced in comparison to what others offer for the same or more. Get this pedal, it's seriously badass!!!
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
Feels great to me!
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Exceptional tones. Boss has a real good feel for what musicians want regarding tones. Nothing cheesy here!
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
Nice finish. Glad they went to a black finish unlike the GT10. Black is always very cool.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
