I used these for a wedding last week and I got to admit the sound when I turned it up was clear and clean the bass is a bit lacking for my taste but if I had a subwoofer or 2 it would be perfect. So I like I got the padded covers to protect from dirt and dust. There light weight. Perfect for small to med gigs I did a wedding of 40 no problem. So i would buy another pair and 2 18 subs and your setup would be killer

I mainly buy EV for their warm comfort sound. These are just that. I needed more power and umph. They are only 2 way but when you crank it up the club gets hopping. They deliver the punch needed and for the small bar. When I get done paying for them I will be buying another set.

In my many years of playing professional music I have used EV equipment more than once. I know it to be well made to perform to pro standards. The speakers I purchased from AMS are no exception. I am very satisfied with my transactions with American Musical Supply.
