Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Overall good but when I bend notes the frets seem rough if that makes sense. Almost as if the didn't do a good job at the factory of polishing them. Easy fix for about $30 well worth the tone. Seems to be a very sturdy instrument. It seems a lot of people have had issues with the tuners, I on the other hand have not. Reliability How has it stood up over time? Time will tell, seems great. Overall Your general opinion of this product. Out of the box she played very well frets need a good polish they kinda drag but other than that she's a dream, I almost feel bad, my Custom Shop 60's Time Machine Strat has not seen the light of day since I received my Casino. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Super light guitar with a very great feeling neck. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? What ever you want it to be, amazing blusey growl for single coils. I have never bought an Epiphone guitar that I didn't wish was a Gibson. Well I did this time, I owned a Gibson ES339 that was amazing but for the price I would rather own a couple of these guys and not be frightened to bring it to gigs. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Finish was great, I got the Cherry Action How was the action out of the box? Action was ready to go.
Good buy on a great guitar

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Seems very well-made. Time will tell, but it's looking good so far. Overall Your general opinion of this product. Seems very well-made. I bought this as a gift for my son, a Beatles fanatic, and it's his first electric. He's tickled to death with it. The case is a REAL Epiphone case, not just a "deluxe" no-name model, and is also VERY nice. I highly recommend the case if you buy this guitar, very much worth the extra $$$. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Ask my son. :) Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? A variety of tones, haven't heard it really put through it's paces yet. But just the selectable pickups make a big change in tone. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Finish looks awesome. A few very minor flaws, but small and indiscreet. Average person would never know unless they were looking for flaws. Action How was the action out of the box? Haven't made any adjustments other than tuning. Out-of-the=box tuning was almost right on.
A good buy for the money

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Seems to be made pretty good. Haven't had it very long yet. Reliability How has it stood up over time? N/A Overall Your general opinion of this product. I was concerned that the guitar quality would be bad because of being made in China. I was reading other ratings of guitar and Korea seemed to be the builders of choice, but couldn't seem to find a guitar made there. Was told that you had to take a chance on what you got and I was delighted after I got it. Looks good, finish is great, it was quality checked in U.S.A. sounds really good to. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? It's a real light guitar easy playing. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Sound is great, you can get mellow beautiful sounds to heavy, very versatile Finish How did the stain or paint job look? NO flaws in the finish, craftsmanship as far as I can tell is really good. Action How was the action out of the box? The set up was pretty good no buzzing of strings. It is easy to play.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Overall quality is a 8.5 out of 10. Totally worth the price. Reliability How has it stood up over time? Seems very well built. The quality of the woods used look of much higher caliber than the stock images allude to. Frets are very nicely finished with no sharp edges or high spots. The overall build quality seemed much nicer than what I expected from something "Made In China". Totally a gig worthy instrument. Overall Your general opinion of this product. Absolutely love this guitar. The P90 and full hollow body are a perfect match. After a complete setup this guitar was much more than I expected from a guitar that is made in China. The fretboard (after I oiled it) is nice and dark and overall the guitar is MUCH nicer looking than Gibson's stock pictures make the guitar out to be. For $599, this is how much guitar you SHOULD get nowadays. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? The guitar is right about 7 lbs... Definitely not a back breaker. Even though it is a full hollowbody, the guitar is very well balanced and doesn't want to "dive" neck first when you have it strapped on. Neck feels more substantial than any of the Korean or Japanese Elite models (which have really skinny, small necks)... This feels more like a current Gibson "60's neck. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Tone is outstanding. Blows you away if you play clean... very rich sounding with nice bottom end thump. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Finish is your typical polyurethane finish... Probably bullet-proof. But I didn't notice any flaws whatsoever, and the grain in the wood not only looks quality, but really pops through (I purchased the cherry red model) Action How was the action out of the box? Action and setup on ANY guitar you buy online is going to stink, regardless of maker or price.
