This is a well made hard case for your SG style guitar. The latches are durable, the hard case and the interior lining are designed to ensure that your guitar is not only protected from the outside elements but also continue to look as new as possible when removing from the case. The inner pocket large enough to hold, strap, capo, tuner, and extra set of strings with no problem. No need to pay several hundred dollars for a case when this one will do exactly the same for less. Oh yes, I almost forgot, it does come with a key to lock the case to prevent unwanted access from curious observers.

Bought this case for my brand new Epiphone SG Custom, and let me tell you.. Does she fit like a glove! Hard, solid outer casing provides protection and security against harsh environments as well as tough impacts. Chrome hardware, soft, plush interior helps protect my baby from any scratches and dust. There's even a small hidden compartment for easy storage. Almost forgot to mention the light weight of the case for easy transport and storage. 10 out of 10 I personally recommend these cases for any fellow SG artists.

I’ve bought two of these so far from American musical supply their by far the best hard cases I own they’re padded on the inside and fit sg’s perfectly so they don’t move around and are super sturdy on the outside even passed my friends five year old walking on it test (not recommended) trust me this isn’t a need it’s a must have

This case is built very well. It has a soft plush lining, a compartment under the neck and three well built latches to keep your guitar nice and secure when you are on your way to the next gig. This fits my SG G400 perfectly and had great balance. The best thing about this case is the price. The Epiphone Deluxe SG Case is solid outside with a soft fitting interior that well protects your valuable instrument. Excellent handle and outter locks assure transportation of the Epiphone SG instrument is well controlled and secured. This is really a great guitar case for the money... I ordered a new 2020 Epiphone SG custom inspired by Gibson and this case to go with it, I have a G-400 also, and I am wondering if this is going to actually FIT the custom as the add states it's for SG 400's and nighthawk guitar's .i am hoping that this will fit . The Guitar is on back order so it won't come till the end of the month so I have a new case just waiting to be filled.

My Epi SG Special, also purchased from AMS, fits perfectly... looks very well made... only comes with one key (no mention at all of a key in the literature)... and I take screen shots of everything as I purchase as I go along to make sure I didn't misunderstand anything... the two day delivery (from my screenshot) did not happen (I waited home for this on day two)... on day 3 it arrived...

Came well packaged in an oversize, outer box and tight-fitting inner Epiphone box. Overall the case appears to be pretty well made with 3 chrome latches (1 that locks). The interior is "plush", very well padded so that it hugs my SG400 with no movement. There is a nice size storage area under the neck that holds quite a bit. 3 or more sets of strings, amp cord, picks, electric tuner and other misc. All-in-all a pretty nice case.

Not as high quality as I had hoped. Not nearly as durable as my low end fender case.
Latches are sloppy. The lining inside looks as though it could fall out if you looked at it wrong. The guitar it's protecting is an Epiphone which I love and has never let me down. I don't expect this from the case. I'll spend the money for more quality next time.
The pick/string/tuner box cover is made of thin cardboard underneath the lining. I bent it in half the first time I opened it.

Really like the fit of the case on my Epiphone SG model 340. It was very well packed. There was a box within a box. So you removed it from the first box, the case was in another box, very well protected, no scratches or scuffs on the case!
The quality of the case seems to be really well made, I like the way it conforms to the shape of my guitar and the plush lining that protects its finish. The latches work well and the case halves mate correctly when it is closed. You don't have to wiggle or maneuver anything to get it to close correctly, I like it.
I like the outer covering of the case, it should last for quite a while, I hope. I like the way it fits my guitar, and my favorite might be the generous area to store cords and straps.
The price of this case 79.95 at the time I purchased it was exceptional. I researched several places and found most wanted 89.95 for the same or similar item.
When you consider the price and the fact that it was shipped free, wow the value is really there. additionally, most other suppliers are located in my state, also requiring me to pay sales tax, no so in this case :)

The quality appears to be quite good. It is nicely lined on the inside. The only problem is that the glue still smells when the case is opened.
I have only had the case for a short time, but it appears to be well made and should hold up for many years of use on the road.

Although this case is made for the Epiphone SG guitar, I purchased it for use with my new Epiphone Nighthawk guitar. I was quite pleased with my purchase. Previously I had tried using a case that was made for a Les Paul. The Nighthawk would fit the Les Paul case, but I had to remove the strap from the guitar and the guitar would move around inside the case. On the other hand the Epi SG case fit the Nighthawk quite nicely and snuggly. It was almost like the case was made for the Nighthawk. The fit was perfect and in addition I was able to leave the guitar strap on the guitar by folding it properly over the guitar and then tucking it in around the base of the neck. The lid of the case could then be closed easily. The case only had three latches installed on it. I would have liked to seen at least 4 or 5 latches installed on the case. They should have installed a latch at the base of the case and also on the back side. Other than that this case will do the job.

Made very well no flaws of any kind. Opens and closes without having to fart around with it.
FEATURES:
It fits nice and tight but not too tight around a Gibson SG so it doesn't flop around and break the neck off, right? BTW, locks on cases are to keep it shut when it tumbles down the fire escape, not for anti-theft.
EASE OF USE:
Opens up for a right handed guitarist which works for me.

Great value, a must for yours and my expensive and easy to break SG

QUALITY:
I thought it's quality was awesome. I have to admit i was a little skeptical at first since it was under 100 buckaroos, but when I got her and looked at it I was thoroughly pleased. I have no worries that it will let anything hurt my precious SG. The handle is heavy duty too, real nice.
FEATURES:
Great features, nice little compartment for a capo and pics and even a cord. Mine came with a lock and keys but i think it said nonlocking in the description, so I was even happier to see that.
EASE OF USE:
Completely easy. If you can unlatch and lift , you have yourself a case. I love the handle on it too, it just feels right.
VALUE:
Awesome value, like I said you would pay normally over 100 bucks for a case like this.
SOUND:
The sound is pretty weak, i think you might need to replace the humbuckers....lol, no the case sounds great I guess.

Seems to be made quite well. I was plesantly surprised to get the new case instead of the pictured one. It's much more rounded along the edges and it has chrome hinges and latches and does lock.
