Product Review Set up perfect straight out of the box. Flawless and beautiful craftsmanship. Plays better than guitars that I have paid A LOT more for. EMG P/U's sound great. Short scale neck provides effortless playability. Just a great guitar all the way around. AMD had it to my door in less than two days! Packaging was super good. ALWAYS use AMS because they have NEVER let me down!

Product Review This is the first guitar I’ve bought in 20 years, as a lifelong metalcore nerd this guitar seemed like it would be appropriate. I am absolutely in love with this guitar and the pictures do no justice to how gorgeous this thing really is. The fit and finish all around in amazing, it has the great components that you’d expect from an EC-1000 and the sound is phenomenal. I couldn’t be happier.

Product Review One of the best values of any guitar out there. I have at least 14 of my own collection and have built many as well. The EC1000 plays great right out of the box with little or no setup required. Fit and finish are top notch also. Can't be beat for the money. ESP just seems to make great guitars. This is my 2nd and I intend to buy more.

Product Review I am enjoying this guitar quite a bit. It stays in tune well, sounds great, plays really smooth, and looks beautiful with one exception. I'm not liking the pinstripe and fret inlays. Just not fond of the colored design. It comes out more turquoise and blue than in the pictures. Hence the 4 out of 5 stars.

Product Review The guitar plays well, sounds great, and was well worth the price. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was for the blemish on it. When they say minor blemish, take it with a grain of salt. It was actually missing a chunk of the quilted maple top which isn't minor to me. It was discounted because of it, but I feel like I should have been told what that blemish looked like with a little more detail AMS Responds: While we are not able to pictures of every minor blemish guitar we have we would be more then happy to look into this situation. If you could email in pictures with your order number to customerservice@americanmusical.com we can look into it closer for you. Thank you.

Your general opinion of this product. My #1 guitar, the one guitar you can always rely on. The EC/Les Paul style body shape is comfortable, really light and the headstock looks sick! The Locking Tuners are a must! Exceptionally well crafted, a guitar for the serious player willing to pay a good penny. Very fast, smooth and thin neck. The volume and tone knobs are in the perfect spots, although the pickup selector could be moved..it's still easy to get too. They are EMG's, so they have the best tone on the market. Nice and chunky, sharp but smooth, i play in Drop Bb (flat). So they bring out every note with clarity, just expect to run through some 9volts from time to time. It was good and low, but for people like me who love really low action it needs a slight bridge adjustment and some truss rod alterations (for extremely low tunings and heavy strings). Amazing. I wish there was a See Thru Green version, but the red looks flawless. I have owned different EC-1000s over the years and all have held their own. A guitar for many, many years to come.
