Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Reliability How has it stood up over time? Overall Your general opinion of this product. I'm a newbie and I used my electric guitar without a stand for a while, until I decided whether I was going to stick with it. It was a real pain having to lay the guitar on a chair or whatever and then wonder whether it was going to fall off. This stand folds nice and small and goes into a pocket of my soft padded gig bag. It holds my guitar fine when it's opened up. I mean, I wouldn't use it in a busy area where you need the guitar to be safe against being bumped or jostled much (it's not tall enough to have "ears" to secure the neck), but it works just fine for what it is, and the portability is great. I'm very glad to own it. My guitar is an Ibanez Gio electric. The socket for the cord is on the edge, near where one of the supports on this stand holds it up. At first I thought I would have to unplug it to put it in the stand, but it turned out to be no problem. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Action How was the action out of the box?
