Far Beyond the Sun

Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
This guitar is easily one of the best Strats I have ever played and definitely the fastest. The craftmanship is top notch. The volume pot is smooth as silk for doing volume swells and the tremelo stays in tune. I read where this is one of the best Fenders ever made, and I believe it. I have been a die hard Fender user for many years.
How has it stood up over time?
This guitar has been extremely reliable. The only adjustments I have had to make were to the tremelo springs and I had to raise the bridge saddles a little. These are typical adjustments that I make to all my guitars, as I prefer higher string action.
Your general opinion of this product.
As a Fender user for decades, thsi is the best Fender has to offer. I wouldn't play anything else.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
This is THE GUITAR for neoclassical shred. Yngwie and Fender really had their act togetherwhen they designed this masterpiece.
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Definitely has Yngwie's mojo all over it! GREAT for shredding. No mushy sound. The YJM Fury pickups ROCK!
How did the stain or paint job look?
AWESOME finish! It's gonna have that cool aged look, much like my '68 Strat. This guitar is elegant and a monster shred machine all rolled into one.
How was the action out of the box?
This guitar was ready to rock out of the box. I did make a few minor adjustments, as I like my string action a little higher than normal, but that's just a personal preference.
