Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? "FENDER STRAT" nuff said I was a bit leery for a while about gettin' a Mexican made strat. I tried one out @ the local music store and decided I was going to get one, got the white one, bilt solid as any American made. Still gonna get one of the 50's strats Reliability How has it stood up over time? I play pretty aggressive and once again have to say fender guitars really fit for me they hold up really good and STAY IN TUNE!!! No matter how hard you beat on them General Your general opinion of this product. Fender made in Mexico not to shabby @all I really like the "broke-in" and played 2 death feel of this guitar. It's like steppin' back into time with the tone, feel, and look Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Plays great smooth neck and the whole guitar just really feels already broke-in. With any guitar the more you play them the better they sound! Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Bright and snappy with plenty of treble. I turned the bass settings up on my amp and backed the mid and high settings off and it gives it that warm strat tone with a little more snap to it Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Totally awesome job with finish and the broke-in wear finish the back of the neck is wore down to almost bare wood plays smith and silky. The headstock has dings and dents like someone hit the edge of an object with it and the pickguard has that 50 year old faded and aged look to it. The paint even has hair-line cracks in it. They really did a great job on these instruments Action How was the action out of the box? The action was the only thing I have made adjustments to on this guitar. It was a bit high for me. After the correct adjusting it plays fine
