fender doesn't care!
Quality:
made with frets popping out!
Reliability:
didn't stand up brand new!
Overall:
i bought this guitar new from a store, white one, and couldn't get it set up without buzz. turns out that the frets were popping out!! i had to take it to get fixed at a cost of $277 to me to make it playable. per email from fender they "can't work with me" cause i didn't go to an "authorized service center" to be fixed! (i took it to the best repairman in town according to everyone out here!)
Playability and Feel:
plays great now after getting somebody to fix it!

Great Telecaster Fully Loaded!
Quality:
The guitar is henche en mexico. I know Fender has caught a lot of flack for making these in Mexico, but i don't see any difference in the quality. The neck feels nice and smooth, and the body's satin finish feels and looks great.
Sound:
The tone is pretty good, the EMG's characteristics come off slightly bright compared to other EMG equipped guitars I own. I know a lot of people claim EMG's all sound the same, but I've found that to be false.
Reliability:
I've only had it for 2 weeks, but no problems to report. It does feel more solid than some import guitars I have.
Overall:
I wanted one of these since the day they were introduced. This telecaster is the total package for those of us that want classic looks with a great metal sound.
Playability and Feel:
The body feels a bit heavier than my imports, however the neck on this is phenomenal. Total Shredders neck, it was based off of a Charvel neck. Smooth finish makes it easy to play.
Tone:
As mentioned in the tone, the EMG's retain their classic characteristics, they just come across a little brighter compared to other EMG equipped guitars I own.
Finish:
The finish looks great. No Flaws no problems
Action:
The action out of the box was a little loose, little slack in the strings, but however, was somewhat in tune, 1/2 a step down. I'm making a note of this to potential buyers, as the artist who uses the guitar typically tunes down anywhere to B to A and other various tunings.

I haven't had it too long but I'm sure I won't need to buy another guitar ever again! (but I will)
Overall:
I own the white one & I'm in love with this guitar!!! It sounds unbelievable! & the lock down tuners are the best! The whole body is smooth & the pickups give a great sound this is the best guitar I've ever played. Thanks James Root for designing a masterpiece!!
Playability and Feel:
It feels good. A lil heavy, kinda a think neck for me but I easily got use to it.
Tone:
I love the pickups. They sound amazing.
Finish:
Oh my god!! I love the paint! I have the white one & the flat white look amazing!

New #1 guitar for me
Quality:
The quality is also something of a bit of a surprise. I expected a little less for the money but let me tell you, this is built super solid and tight. Mahogony body feels great.
Sound:
Perfect tone. EMG 81/60 combo is the best. Clean, distorted, it doesn't matter. The tone is SWEET.
Reliability:
No problems yet.
Overall:
I have played and owned everything under the sun and this Jim Root model Tele is the absolute finest instrument yet in my quest for the eternal tone and playability.
Playability and Feel:
The feel is solid. The neck as some beef to it but not too much. Just perfect for fast runs and the 25.50 scale is the way to go folks. It's night and day between this and a 24.75 scale.
Tone:
The tone is CLEAR. Definition for notes while playing distorted chords and clean is pristine.
Finish:
The finiah is a flat black that is smooth and silky. Awesome finish. The neck is the best feeling neck yet.
Action:
Here is what is amazing. The action was PERFECT out of the box. No need to do anything.
Skill Level:
Semi-Pro

Well thought out, great live guitar.
Quality:
A+ It hasn't let me down yet.
Sound:
I play a variety of music, and this guitar has the BIG tone to handle it all. I especially like the "in-between" spot with the 60&81 very useful playing funk!
Reliability:
This thing is built like a tank.
Overall:
I really appreciate the quality fender put into this axe for the price. A+
Playability and Feel:
This guitar was made to play live. The only issue I would think people would have with this guitar is its weight. If you are used to Les Pauls, you will feel right at home.. Strats, well, not so much.
Tone:
The EMGs are consistent and powerful. Think Grand piano load and clear!
Finish:
I like the satin finish, the neck is fast and doesn't get gummy when sweaty, and the White finish on the body looks like a salt block - kinda neet-o.
Action:
Spot-on action, great fretwork, everything was as it should be.

Beautiful Instrument!
Quality:
This Guitar is very well made right down to the beautiful tweed plush Case it was shipped in. I was pretty leary of buying via the Internet but no more. This whole experience exceeded my expectations.
Reliability:
I've only owned it for a week but so far awesome.
Overall:
I've never played Tele's but that has now changed as I will be playing more of them. They are built for shredding. And if you're reading this I highly recommend this Guitar!
Playability and Feel:
This Guitar was perfect out of the Case. The action was spot on. And I love the mohagany body as it has weight to it. The Neck and frets are made for shredding and comfort. The finish is beautiful with its black hardware and classic - modern look. Jim Root and Fender hit dead on with this one.
Tone:
This Guitar has the best of both worlds with it's EMG Pickups. The 81 and 60. The 81 in the Bridge will satisfy the metal in you and the neck pickup is very clean. Any Tone is easily accessable with this beauty.
Finish:
BEAUTIFUL!
Action:
Dead on!
