Tired of lugging Harvey amps? This has a direct out with good bass tones. For large venues direct plug to PA and enjoy. Good for practice or any situation you need.

I was not even considering Fender as an option. I remember the lame Fender solid state Bass amps of 30 years ago. Didn't really matter the wattage, they all flabbed out. But I kept hearing that these Rumbles amps were really good. I took a gamble and am pleasently surprised. This 40 watt rivals my 250 watt Carvin Micro Stack. Very light weight. I think this could handle a small room gig. The XLR out is also good for feeding direct into the house mix. Great sound at an even better price point.

Great sounding overdrive with level and drive controls. Really like the three tone modes, especially the Contour and Vintage. The EQ has four bands, bass, treble, and splits the mids into low and high. Great feature for changing music genre's. Lots of other features too, and only weights about 19Lbs!

I'm new to the bass. However, I've been playing guitar for several years. I like this combo amp. I like the tone and VOLUME. It seems like a solid entry level bass amp. I would definitely recommend it for beginners like me or for a practice amp for experienced players.

This is a wonderful little amp. It not only plays bass well but plays electric guitar extremely nicely as well. If you’re a bass/electric guitarist like me, you’ll love this platform! I strongly recommend it. It sounds like a tube amp for the cost of a solid state. Once again, great! And AMS hooked me up with a great deal. Thanks AMS!!!

Light weight with plenty of boom for your buck, nice work all around, from the eq and contour control just perfect for finding your tone, the direct out is seamlessly quiet, add the gain and drive and you have all you could ask for, played Ampegs that weren't as versatile as this combo, bottom line, perfection!!

I have owned and used Fender's Rumble 200 w/one 15 inch, a pair of the Rumble 100's, and now their 40w/10 inch version. These three versions are all lightweight without sacrificing any of the solid bass dynamics that Fender has been known for since their early "Bassman" amps. Great value and great amplifiers.

The controls are the same as the Fender Rumble 100 I have and I needed a smaller amp lighter than my old smaller amp. The 40 does the same as my 100 but can use in smaller venues. Haas much more sound than I expected which is a plus. And 4 pounds less than the 100. Nice!

small, portable, light weight. overall tonnage and EQ settings are sufficient yet not pleasing. had one of these for couple of years without any issues. volume and sound are more then enough for small gig or at home practice and without distortions as long we remember what this rumble was design for. a worthy trouble free work horse. a must have item for anyone who plays.

I purchased this amp to replace an old Squire amp that I bought when I got my bass. I didn't really play my bass much over time. Then I purchased this Rumble 40 and I don't want to put my bass down now! I didn't realize how dissatisfied I was with the Squire. I highly recommend!

I am so happy with this amp. It has enough volume for rehearsal or low volume gigs and it only weighs about 22 pounds! It is so easy to lift, carry, and fit in any vehicle! The tone options are good. You can get some nice sounds out of it. I dial in just a touch of drive and distortion to give it a slight growl. Other times I go clean for a round, warm jazz sound. It is transistor but for a small, inexpensive amp; the tone is pretty good! I bought it for low volume rehearsals and acoustic jams and it is perfect!

For the price and it's size, it is a pretty impressive little amp. For something so small it has a lot of thump for a small room or studio. And the overdrive is pretty decent too. Light enough that my kids can help roadie it around. Great preamp for going d.i. into a sound system.

A brilliant bass amp by Fender - with plenty of options to shape your sound post-pickups. Loud enough for most small to medium gigs, dial it down soft enough for practice without disturbing the neighbors. Handles extended range bass (5 and 6 strings) without muddling the middles.

I needed a small bass amp for my studio and small venues, and this little amp more than met my expectations. It packs a ton of punch and versatility in an 18lb package. The XLR output in the back also eliminates the need for micing it to cut through larger rooms, too! For features, price, and tone, it beats any other bass amp I've tried in its class or price range and provides more tone and punch for the buck than I anticipated. Fender definitely got this bass amp right!
