Product Rating Product Review beautifully crafted, you can hang it on the wall instead of a painting; slightly smaller and lighter than other guitars of this type, easy to hold; decent sound, try it unplugged to appreciate how the body resonates;

Product Review I think this guitar is great. Great tone. Easy to play. I like the features, especially being able play it unplugged. It is still not as loud as a regular acoustic, but I didn't expect it to be, but it is loud enough for personal use. I love the sound plugged in and unplugged. The neck is very comfortable, not too thin, not too thick. I've got guitars with a thicker neck and thinner necks. This one is good. It seems to be pretty well constructed. I liked the way it was set up from the factory. The action is nice and low, the way I like it. Intonation was good. My only concern is that foam padding that is under the floating bridge. I don't think it can be removed without messing up the intonation. Great value for the price!

Your general opinion of this product. I am a music major with my BA in jazz guitar. I have owned several archtops over the last 25 years, and this guitar is one of the finest models I have come across. (Yes, I realize that is a big claim.) I honestly feel the quality is better than my Gibson ES-175. The craftmanship is top notch, the finish and the inlay work is perfect, and the pickups have that great 60's jazz tone that I love. The action is so low that it practically plays itself. The guitar did require a setup by my guitar tech, but that is common with any new instrument that you purchase. The Ibanez case is also very impressive. They are using a Candian made TKL case. The case is well padded and constructed. After years of playing overpriced Gibsons, I am now convinced that Ibanez makes the best jazz archtops for the money. I recently sold my Gibson ES-175. Gibson quality control has really slipped in the last years, and I believe they no longer make a quality instrument in regard to the price that you p

Your general opinion of this product. I've played one exstensively, this guitar has the same or nearly the same tone as my $ 3000 Ibanez PM100, you know the Metheny Sigs. Action can be set low, the tone is woody and mellow, great for Jazz, and I love the size, too. The same size as the Ibanez George Bensons. Pickups are quiet and have plenty of range and power, for other styles. 22 frets expand the vocabulary for jazzers. I'm definately going buy one.

Your general opinion of this product.

QUALITY:
The 10th fret has a small raised area, which is only a problem when bending at that fret, and is easily fixable. Otherwise, very nice guitar.

VALUE:
At this price, you cannot beat this guitar.

SOUND:
I can get some decent tones out of this guitar. It isn't great with heavy distortion, But I didn't expect it to be, so no big deal.

STYLE:
Rock

OVERALL:
Overall, this guitar is a keeper.

EASE OF USE:
very easy to use...no rough frets edges!

VALUE:
great for the price, one should buy two of these guitars....one for gigging and one for practice(just kidding, one guitar does it all)

SOUND:
sounds great right out of the box, however if you are playing jazz, you should invest in new strings, maybe get "medium light" or "medium" gauge

I have been a dedicated Gibson Man for so long, I forgot about the others out there. Couldn't go out of pocket on those high dollar Gibson Hollow Bodies so I searched, reluctantly, for a cheaper guitar-in other words, not Made in America...Wasn't sure what I would end up with. The
