This item is a great solution for routing multible inputs and outputs for a DAW production desk. Being able to select many different combinations of sources is a big plus.
The only thing missing is a pan pot.

Very solid and quiet operation. It allows for lots of routing possibilities without the hassle of a patch bay and all those cables. You just push the buttons for what you want to hear and where you want it to be heard from. BUY ONE !

So Far, So Good, Built Very Well
Not sure yet, Only using it for monitor switching but has a ton of other features
Very Easy, Plug in and go. Wish it was rack mount.
Sounds Good
Too soon to tell.
Your general opinion of this product.
Too bad not U.S. built but still built well. Makes my Yammie monitors jump. Even though it is B stock, looks brand new.

I've had it for about a year now and never any problems straight out the box a beast
Just know you can setup about six speakers all at once and still have the option to have all on at once or one at a time
1,2,3 easy
all sounds are crisp as if it had a compressor on it
Yes
Your general opinion of this product.
I love this mainly cause for about 6 years of producing I had a huge 32 channel mixer. And if anyone knows that thing takes up a load of space. Now with the Big Knob it's super small even smaller than a laptop I love it.

Studio-quality features (mono output & dim switches, for example), well thought out.
I wish it had RCA inputs for a cassette player! (RCA inputs are ONLY for phonograph player)
Great manual, easy to figure out the connections, well built, transparent sound.
I have no problem with the sound - seems uncolored to me.
It's been 100% reliable so far.

Solid and well built.
So many signal routing choices, so little time and equipment.
Simple if you understand signal flow and gain structuring.
Though it is not passive, I notice no coloration in the sound.
So far, no signs of weakness.
Your general opinion of this product.
Quite impressive.

Excellent DAW audio matrix.

Your general opinion of this product.
QUALITY:
Mackie quality of the good ol' days. Solid, heavy. Tank-like.
FEATURES:
Does what it should.
EASE OF USE:
Fantastically easy to use even for a total novice.
VALUE:
Excellent.
SOUND:
Sound is very good, but I can't help but wonder about the active electronics. I am impressed for active electronics, but a truly 100% passive circuitry would be better. Still, it sounds very good and some of the features that it has could only really be done with active circuitry, so I'm okay with it.

Who doesn't want a big knob?

Your general opinion of this product.
QUALITY:
It's Mackie. Excellent.
FEATURES:
It has everything I need - even talkback.
EASE OF USE:
Think through your routing, and it's very easy to use. I typically have my Tascam FW-1844, my Korg MR-1000, and my even my Motif keyboard run through it (the latter is through a patchbay, so I can go either record or go directly to the monitors.
VALUE:
Great price for everything you get.
SOUND:
No noticable coloration. Once again, it's Mackie.

Big KNOB is BETTER

Your general opinion of this product.
QUALITY:
I recomend this for any studio, I own one and will be purchasing another for the second studio that Im building now in Atlanta- I know of several large studios that use at least one also!...
FEATURES:
Everything you need, just do the homework!
EASE OF USE:
plug what you need and press a button, get the responce you are looking for.
VALUE:
For this price you could pay more just ask presonus. but why pay more for such an affordable and convient piece
SOUND:
Guitar centert says that it colors your sound BUT that is just sales HYPE --- THINK ABOUT IT; Why would you spend $400.00 more for the presonus set up when you can get the same features with KNOWN quality for less? So they give a FIBB about it colouring your sound . There are so many studios using large mackie consoles and small behringer consoles to output for with this does and WHAT DO THOSE BOARDS DO TO YOUR SOUND???? And people still use
