This is a very nice sounding speaker for the price. I already have several QSC speakers and for me to compare the sound to them is a big plus, especially when you compare the pricing

I love them ! I own the pvxp sub and 2 pvxp 12" speakers and they are awesome !My only quirk is Peavey should have included the 9 band EQ with the speakers.You have to buy it separate that's why I gave it 4 stars for features. Other than that, they sound fantastic !
I always purchased Peavey equipment and going on their reputation these speakers are just as dependable as the SP 3's that I still have from 1980. ( yep! that's right!)and never had a problem with them.
The owners manual was helpful as far as setup, and explained the controls well. I use the sub input then attach the 2 12" speakers to the hi pass outlet which controls the amount of lows & hi z that go to the 2 12s.
You should realty not have to buy the modular units separately, they should give you a choice of which modular you want.
They are LOUD so watch your volume. It will tell you if it clips by a light in the front & rear so adjust as necessary.
