Product Review This thing can sum a stereo signal, pad your gain, reverse your polarity and lift your ground while being dead quiet because it's passive. Plus it uses a real Jensen transformer and it's built like a tank! It's only a little bigger than a typical DI so it won't take up all the space in your gig bag or guitar case. This thing will probably last forever!

Great DI, perfect for Studio and Live!

Solid quality The best feature is of course the tone.Transients are more present VS other DI's. If listen they are more prevelant on accoustic and jass/funk bass guitars. Plug n Play. Basic DI easy. No. Yes. 100% playable in both Studio and Live. As before transients supper important in tone, this DI gives it. You can hear on the back to backs in the studio, as well as live through the mixer!

EXTREMELY DEPENDABLE AND QUIET. THE BIGGEST NAMES IN SOUND AND MUSIC USE THESE. PURE SOUND. SIMPLE NON COLORED SOUND BUILT LIKE A TANK WITH LOTS OF OPTIONS. READ THE BOOKLET COUPLE TIMES THAT IS INCLUDED IT WILL BE WELL WORTH YOUR TIME. SMOOTH WARM SOUND EVEN WITH UNDER SADDLE PICKUPS WHEN COMPARED TO LOWER PRICED PASSIVE DIRECT BOXES.

Absolutely...Radial gear is always great in this category! This thing is tough. It holds up out at gigs and continues to sound great! Very easy...comes with a manual, but you won't need it. Very full reproduction of bass tone. (Sounds even better than the amp from time to time!)

Your general opinion of this product.

QUALITY:
It's very sturdy and "road-worthy". The jacks and switches are protected by the outer steel cover.

FEATURES:
It has the usual DI switches plus a merge feature that sums two inputs into one output.

EASE OF USE:
simple

VALUE:
This unit isn't the cheapest but it's worth the price, considering the sound quality.

SOUND:
The sound is transparent, clean and quiet. The best sounding DI is the one you can't hear (what you put in, you get out). The Jensen transformer is very warm and natural sounding. Radial's ProDI also sounds very good for less money.

STYLE:
rock, fusion

MUSIC EXPERIENCE:
guitar and keyboard player, sound engineer

OVERALL:
The bottom line is this: If you want a high-quality, great sounding DI, you can't go wrong with Radial. I can honestly say that, in 20 years of music production, this is the best DI I have used and would recom
