I've been using Tascam for over 25 years.I ordered the CD 901kii because my CD rw900sl tray broken. After all these years that was my first and only problem i ever had with a Tascam product. I only had it for 3 years with minimal usage.

This thing is transparent as hell. Holy s*** i am really impressed. Does exactly what it was made for.
My experiment with it was to record a few tracks from a record. Numark to a Yamaha mixer to the cd recorder. It was intuitive (read the instructions if possible) and i only wasted 2 cdr's figuring it out.
So go ahead and make fun, but my test audio was ABBA. Once i figured out how to track mark and finalize, i moved the cd to my sony sports boom box. It sounds almost better than the source material.
If you are needing a pro cd player/recorder... Buy this one.

Been using cd burners for years wht i like most is the studio sound quality sound recordings and the easy to use buttons and controls makes getting the right level easy i like tht it has separate input controls so can be sure to record even easy to use track fuction to track cds worth the extra money $$$$$ !!!!!!

I purchased this cd recorder for home studio use and to me it out performs some more expensive studio units that I’ve seen. Tascam has always been on the leading edge of recording gear and the CD RW 901 MK II is a glowing example. It does everything. I can name the tracks, fade out, it has left and right input volume knobs, and a handy remote control! Those are just a few things from its long list of features. Me and my company partners are truly pleased. Then to top it off, AMS had the best payment plan on the planet. I’m already done paying for it and got to use it the whole time. You can’t beat that!!!!

This Tascam recorder is what our church has been needing for many years. We're able to record all our Services now. The sound is excellent. The gospel radio station broadcast our pre-recorded services from the cd. I highly recommend this Tascam to any church or organization or individual. American Music has excellent customer service and we love their payment options. We will continue to purchase our music needs from them for many years to come. I been using this TASCAM CD-RW901MKII for a couple of months now, but I have a long "good history" with TASCAM CD recorders.
All of them were excellent, and always ready to work. I buy TASCAM CD recorders, because I like to record my music as analog as possible, directly from my mixer, to CD. I also use this systems as CD players, and never had a problem.
I love the sound response_ It'll reflect exactly what's recorded in the CD with out exaggerating in lows, mids or higher frequencies.. either playing, or when recording the CD.
Very easy to use too, and very versatile when it comes to connecting other systems.
Totally worth spending my money on this CD-RW901MKII..
