As an independent artist, the majority of purchases for your music career are going to be mainly out of pocket. Building a professional studio can be very expensive. However, I love that American music supply provides a rockstar status after a few timely paid purchases; this opportunity makes it easier to build a professional studio with quality equipment without breaking the bank or affecting your credit score. I also want to include the fantastic customer support that they have. They always have staff who are willing to answer the questions that you have and guide you on the gear that you’re looking for.

This brings life to individual tracks, or whole projects. It can be used for live performances or inside a DAW as a plug in. I absolutely love this thing. My tracks really have a warmth a digital plug in just canter imitate. I’m hooked. No more plugs in for me.

This is another one of WARM AUDIO’s masterpieces, I use it in the second to last processor in my mastering chain , and after all the hard work is done , the Warm TUBE EQ JUST Puts a sheen on my mixes that is unexplainable, and gentle sweetness that I’ve been missing , I can also use both BOOST & CUT to do certain repairs of a problem frequency, AMAZING MACHINE

This is Warm Audio's version of a Pultec EQ and there are others out there, but i have to say this is the best. It could easily be mistaken for the real thing. If you wanted that Pultec sound but can't swing the high price tag then don't worry, Warm Audio and their EQ can easily do the job with a much lower price. I was comfortable with it enough to buy 2 so i had the option to do mono and stereo recordings with them.

I used to collaborate with someone who had a pair of Tube Tech versions of the EQP-1A. They were like magic. Easy to use and really hard to get a bad sound out of. They cost several grand for the pair but still I remember telling myself how one day I had to get a pair. Time marches on and along comes Warm Audio. I purchased a pair and with a substitution to the 12ax7's used I found myself listening to that same wonderful Pultec vibe that I remembered from so long ago. Insert them on your stereo buss while mixing down your multi-track compositions and you'll be so glad to have a pair in your studio too.

First of all, I have never used one of the original units. I have used the Tube Tech interpretation once. These are terrific tools to sculpt your tone. Kick, bass, overheads, rooms, vocals and two-buss are great places to use these units (I bought two).
They have a little bit of a learning curve because of how the boost, attenuation, and bandwidth parameters interact with each other. I have the Waves and UAD plug-in versions, so i used their presets and then tweaked from there. It shortened the learning curve.
Bottom line....great units. Oh, and if you're into it, try some different brand tubes. Great for "tweakers".

I was blown away by the warmth and quality that this EQ brings to my setup!
I have two of them setup as stereo and wow, I dont know how I didn’t buy them before. I have heard many other EQs with a much higher price tag and I can say by experience, the sonic quality goes up there in comparison. If you haven’t tried them, please make yourself a favor and go for it. You won’t be dissapointed.
They are perfect for anything, REALLY!!
I use it for my two main Mics, Bass, movie watching and even for video gaming since I have everyhting connected to my setup. It just brings a unique soond to everything. You must hear it to believe it. I own a huge amount of plugins and this EQ blows them out of the water, simple as that!!
Qudos to warm Audio for making such a great EQ for all of us that pursue sound excellence!!!!

Warm Audio is the best. The EQP-WA sounds amazing. I use two of them on my master buss along with the Rupert Neve Master Buss Processor. I’ve worked with many of the vintage pultec’s and while each one of them have their own character they all have a fundamental sound and the EQP-WA is as close to the original that I’ve used. Warm Audio is sure to become expensive sought after vintage gear in the future.

All I can say is smooth, smooth, smooth. The first knob I reach for is the low end boost. I love how this eq sounds. No matter what frequency you choose it will be nice, smooth and warm, no harshness to the top end frequencies even with a narrow bandwidth. I can only imagine how amazing a real one is. Soon I will be getting a second one. Can't wait to see what is does on a mix or stereo source. I also want to say there is no better company to buy from than American musical supply. Awesome customer service if you should need it and they ship orders quickly. no complaints here.

This is THE EQP-1A equalizer you want to get. Using the bypass switch on the left, I connected it and left the switch in the bypass position. While listening on headphones I turned it on and the magic was awesome. The perfect implementation of the EQ and far better than any plugin I have used in a DAW.

I had never heard of Warm Audio, but bought a WA-76 after reading about them on a forum. Having owned an 1176 in the past, I was very impressed.
When the EQ came out I ordered one right away. It's not a true Pultec EQ, but it certainly has that flavor. It sounds very good on vocals, acoustic guitar, bass, etc.... I have been using it on hardware inserts in PTHD and committing tracks with this and the WA-76.
It's a great EQ, but it is mono. You can't really use this on your stereo buss unless you buy two. At that price ($1400) it's still a bargain. I'm planning on buying another.
