Durable, affordable, and versatile
By: Clyde

Product Review
This is a great, sturdy, roomy, affordable, and versatile guitar bag! The padding is great, allowing 'give' when its needed, and the large zippers make it almost a pleasure to pack the guitar.
I use this case for many different shapes of guitars - small acoustics, solid bodies, etc. Basically anything smaller than a bass, a dreadnaught, or an explorer/V.
Strats work well, as do Telecasters, along with Les Pauls, and smaller concert size acoustics. I've even used it for banjos in a pinch. :-)
The only negative isn't really negative - it's roomy, so for some smaller instruments, smaller than full sized Strats, for example, there may be a little left over padding, but that's really a small beef.

Have a couple of under$1k guitars that I want some kind of protection for. I settled on these gig bags because they were a little heavier than most and had storage pockets. Also I was able to buy two of them from AMS cheaper than just one from another online dealer, plus fast shipping was free. They are doing the job.

Well padded and constructed, BUT......
By: Drew

Product Review
For the price it's a good deal. It's got thick padding and the zipper appears to be decent. BUT, IT STINKS! It smells quite strongly of chemicals- so much so that I left it opened in my basement for about four months before I dared to bring it into our living space on the first floor. I almost sent it back, but it seemed like the smell was SLOWLY fading away, which it did, it just took a very long time. I still think it's a nice case for the $30 I paid for it. I did see it on sale shortly after I bought it for $20- rats, I missed that deal!

The World Tour 20mm bag is well made. Stitching is solid. Zippers are sturdy. The handles look as though they will hold up over time. The front pockets have ample storage space. Yes it could have thicker padding, but it's adequate for typical light use. Recommend as a utility soft case.

At the regular price as others have stated is a good value. This bag is comparable to the "F" brand name bag at almost half the price. On sale even a better value. If you are looking for a gig bag that is strong as a case, this is not the one. This will do the same job as a Tele or Strat gig bag and maybe even a little better.

Product Review
The main zipper is heavy duty and the exterior is tough. The interior material is very smooth and appears that it will be very gentle on my guitar's finish. The foam padding is very protective and dense, such as inside a heavy keyboard case. The pockets are generous. Everything is well-stitched. The only design change that I would make would be to fit this bag with a split handle: one half attached to the compartment side of the case; the other to the top flap. This would provide double protection in case of failure of handle attachment, or failure of the main zipper, during carrying and would prevent the guitar from possibly falling out of the bag.

This bag is well worth the money & arrived 1 day early.
Well made bag, to bad that it does not open open fully, just be careful when sliding the guitar in & out.
Great padding but It's certainly NOT 20mm (10/12 max) wish still offer a good protection. The 2 front pockets are pretty big, nice handle, there is 2 back straps & 1 hanging handle. The inside material is not as soft as it could be, but it's not that bad & there is nice head stock and bridge protection.I like the bottom plastic Gard for when you rest the guitar on the floor. I'm not so sure about the zipper quality, (time will tell).
**** OVER ALL A GREAT BAG & THE PRICE IS RIGHT ***

Just got got this gig bag a few days ago . After reading all the horrific reviews ...... I knew it was right for me . I am an occasional player , so I didn't need a case .....they take up too much space , but needed something to store my guitar in , that I could also transport it in . For $30 , this greatly exceeded my expectations . Thick (compared to other bags in price class )padding . Ample storage compartments. Sturdy zippers . Fits my les paul and strat . Will definitely be getting a few more of these .

I purchased this gig bag for a Squier Bullet Telecaster, and the guitar fit perfectly. I love the thickness of the padding and features such as the extra nylon pad on the headstock, so the strings don't rip apart the inside of the gig bag, as it happens with so many other ones.
The pockets are nice and roomy, definitely more than enough for me.
All handles and straps are high quality and feel sturdy, never makes you feel like they're gonna rip out on you. Zippers feel good, they're big and bulky, definitely high quality!
You're getting quite a lot of value for the price this gig bag sells for! I've read terrible reviews and seen pictures of big brand gig bags (some of which retail for 2-3 times the price of this one, so I went with this one and can't recommend it enough!

Good case, of course you could spend twice as much and get thicker padding, i just need to cover my guitars from dust in the house and take them on short car rides to a friends house sometimes and i always use a blanket and set it down very carefully so it doesnt bounce. If you have a 3000 dollar guitar maybe get a hardcase lol but im pretty careful all my guitars only have a few knicks or scratches from me playing them or being an idiot and leaning them wrong during breaks. This case is great, a bit more padding and more pockets than the 20 dollar version which is all a fine choice for entry or mid level level guitars.

This is the second World Tour Deluxe 20mm Electric Guitar Gig Bag I have purchased and both are excellent bags for the price. I have been using both of them to carry two of my Fender electric guitars around from gig to gig and both bags have weathered well. They have only been in use for a few months but, appear to be weathering the storm. Solid exterior and well padded interior with good zippers and strong handles make them well worth the low cost. We need to protect our fine instruments at all times when possible and these soft bags are doing just that. I'll be buying more World Tour Deluxe 20mm Electric Guitar Gig Bag's in the future to protect new electric guitar's that come without any type of carry case.

As the heading says, this is the second one of these gig bags I've purchased. Even though I looked at several other brand offerings prior to buying this one, I did not find any other bag with these features at this price point. Also.... World Tour decided to change to an "embroidered logo" instead of the old sewed on plastic one that my first case has. (Good decision, in my opinion!) And yes...... as others have mentioned, there is still only one zipper closer on the large storage compartment and it takes a little finesse to zip around those 90 degree corners. BUT..... abundance of other features help offset that one shortcoming. For less than $25, you may be hard-pressed to find an alternative!

While the bag is well made and of good quality, the VERY heavy smell of industrial solvents will give you a headache if you stay in the same room with the case. He bashed it into a wall, and if I had this gig bag, there would be no damage.

Good quality for the money, nice padding, works well. I don't know where they measure 20mm, but I don't believe the padding is close to 20mm thick. I guess if you added the additional padding on the seams to the padding between the nylon? I always used hard cases for a long time, which obviously do give additional protection. I believe this will provide adequate protection as long as I don't fall down any stairs or drop other heavy objects on it. I find the one gig bag I got with my PRS SE very useful and easier for getting through doors, rehearsal, jams etc. The PRS bags are very nice quality, but are much more expensive, and I believe this to be similar quality for about half the price. I did not encounter any strong smell as other people had mentioned, just normal glue / vinyl if you get real close, same as any case.

Like Mark from LA, I too noticed the noxious smell the moment I opened the box it came in. Airing it out seems to help a little, but not much. The bad smell comes from the rubber components on the bag - the handle, bumpers, and other pieces. Same exact smell as from my son's T-ball tee made from the same kind of rubber - from China, of course. Now, I really like the bag [I got two of them], the padding, the design, the way my guitars fit in them , and the low price was perfect. World Tour just needs a slight re-design or re-source the rubber parts and they will have a winner. The inside, although sturdy, isn't as plush as I'd like, with only slightly finer nylon than the outside of the bag. Other than those 2 grips, there's nothing here to complain about. Good bag, lots of room for accessories, protects well, will probably last longer than I will, but time will tell if the smell eventually becomes a non-issue.
Well made overall for the money, although the quality of the rubber is deficient and could be a major issue for some owners or especially, others who live in your home who are sensitive to volatile hydrocarbon gasses given off by some of the parts.
I was expecting good padding, and this case has it. That and the large pockets are my favorite features along with the price.
Since I can't compare the smells from one kind of bag to another, it's hard to know if others in this price range, if not many of them, suffer from the same problem. The durability, padding, and pockets seem much better than competing products.

Great bag (except for smell)

I like this bag, except had a really strong, noxious odor. I tried airing it out for a few days, but smell was still there. Other than that, I think it would have been a good bag to use. It was well-padded, light, functional (good-sized pockets), sturdy, and well-priced for what it is. I eventually returned it, but AMS made it easy to do that. I ordered several other products at the same time, and all of them were fine and were shipped promptly.

Awesome GigBag

Made in Canada and I must say it is very very well made, hey they make Gibson Cases in Canada.
I have owned it for a week and took it out of my apartment 4 out of 7 days with 2 of those springs rains and winds and the bag is like a umbrella and no water seeps through the zippers.
Your general opinion of this product.
Wow this gig bag is awesome, I heard of world tour before because a friend of mine had bought a World Tour drumset and it still holds up and plays great and I said why not, why not buy a gig bag for $20 for my G&L. It is definitely worth $20. GuitarCenter tried to hustle me out of $35 for some crappy brand gig bag with minimal padding but like a smart consumer and musician you wait and strike a deal. And my friend this is the deal. The gigbags padding is superb I couldn't find no dead spots where the guitar can get damaged. The bag has 3 pockets, a real big one for tab books/notes, a smaller one for pedals, ac adapters, tubes, strap and a smaller one for string packs, polish clothes, batteries etc. and no matter what you put in the pockets the guitar can't get damaged. I agree a case is the way to go but now a days paying $30-$50 more for a case isn't worth it if you need those $50 for 3 meals, gas, strings and cigarettes
The bag isn't that heavy but once you stuff it for what it can handle it gets heavy

Flawless Bag is no noticeable rips, with no stench but the factory freshness
Came in factory plastic bag folded in half

Overall quality seems top-notch.
So far it's great.
Your general opinion of this product.
Nice bag! Smooth zipper, good padding, useful pockets.
Nice sturdy handles and zipper.
Not crazy about the color scheme, not an important factor when looking for a good gig-bag for the money.
Came folded in half. Had to unfold it myself. Once unfolded, it was perfect.

seems to be very well made but the zippers seem to be kind of cheap.
only about 6 months old and not used much but seems like it will hold up well if the zippers don't break.
Your general opinion of this product.
decently padded for the price. the zippers bind up when closing and become hard to pull with the handle.
zippers hard to pull.
at first great, then the zippers became hard to pull.

It seems very well-made and I would expect it to last a long time.
Just got it recently; but as I wrote, it's much sturdier than most other gig bags. I prefer hard cases (of course), but this bag actually puts my mind at ease.
Your general opinion of this product.
Surprisingly sturdy for a gig bag, seems tougher than most and at a much better price.
It's a nice looking bag.

The quality is great , my guitar survived an air trip with no damages or scratches
I think will last for a very long time.
Your general opinion of this product.
I've first choose to buy that world tour of $19.99 but AMS didn't had in stock so I bought this one , and It was great , protected my guitar in an 8 hour air trip, but because of it's size, it was necessary to keep on the first class closet, the guitar had a more confortable travel than me.

Good Bag but Could use some tweaks
By: Tod Moses

Seems well made, but I would prefer if it were stiffer. The fill is nice and thick but I would like it better if it was made out of a less flixible material. I don't like the bag flopping around when I am putting the guitar into it.
I just got it but it looks like it will be rugged (as gig bags go)
Your general opinion of this product.
Definately a small step up from many ov the cheaper bags. I got the 335 model for my ESP Xtone because I prefer a bag over a hard case. This is a real good option for any goutar that is not shaped exactly like a start, tele or paul. In fact, it was just about the only option for a larger guitar. It leaves plenty enough space for the guitar and then enough wiggle room with the Bigsby.
