This product is awesome. Instead of having to spend $4,000 to get a decent electronic drum kit I can get these low-volume cymbals and some low-volume heads to go with them. Now I'm rocking out in my town house and no one knows or cares.

These definitely have their purpose. I was tempted to buy these for my son to practice with. But they sound awful! I would never play a gig with them.

These practice cymbals are great. Combined with the Remo silent stroke heads you can practice your kit at 3 am and no one would know the difference. They feel like real cymbals while playing and if a huge advantage over Edrums.
