MIDI Interfaces

MIDI stands for Musical Instrument Digital Interface. The MIDI Standard allows all sorts of audio equipment, instruments, and computers to share a common language. Unlike audio, MIDI makes no sound. Instead, it tells an instrument what note to play and when. This same data can be saved, stored manipulated to create something new. Plus, MIDI is now being used to control lighting, to program synthesizers, to connect MIDI control surfaces and more.
