While intended for use with a subwoofer system to complete a 3-way active full-range system, the AT212-MK3 provides an incredible full range experience on its own. The tall, slim design allows the HF horn to stand above crowds when the cabinet is stacked on subwoofers and the light weight of the cabinet makes stacking easy for one person.
The all new MK3 series deliverers a suite of updates to the BASSBOSS line, improving clarity, performance, functionality, and safety via the new amplifiers, new DSP, custom control software, waterproof connectors, and more.
The updated amplifiers + DSP feature much more powerful 96 kHz processors with pristine sound quality and eight touch-of-a-button on board presets. This new state-of-the-art asymmetrical Class D amplifier provides a true 3200 Watts of RMS power and features enhanced power allocation between the HF and LF drivers, thus offering exceptional dynamic resolution and detail along with precise control, and low current draw. The fully integrated and comprehensive digital processing ensures smooth response and reliable operation thanks to meticulous filter alignments and multi-stage limiters that protect the drivers from excessive peaks & thermal overload by monitoring real power output over time.
The processing features presets that allow it to run in several configurations. The first is full-range mode, with response down to 45Hz (-3dB). The AT212-MK3 can be combined with any BASSBOSS subwoofer. Each preset offers different advantages that suit certain applications and preferences. No matter which preset you choose, your BASSBOSS subs and AT212-MK3 tops will always play in harmony. Scalability is another key benefit, one AT212-MK3 can provide enough mid and high output to match an incredible number of LF elements.
New “Control BASSBOSS” software provides additional computer-accessible presets, networked remote control, and future proofing remote DSP update capabilities as new BASSBOSS programming is developed and released. Each unit features dual ethernet ports with a built-in network switch for computer connectivity and cascading networking ability.
IP65 waterproof connectors have been added to provide peace-of-mind in unpredictable environments, and the MK3 line offers 90-250VAC global power compatibility for use all over the world.
The 3200W RMS two-channel amplifier offers exceptional dynamic resolution and detail along with precise control, low current draw, and light weight relative to the output capacity.
This vented cabinet features two 12” mid-bass drivers and a 1.4” throat horn-loaded compression driver. The low-frequency section features a pair of 12” woofers in a vented enclosure. The woofers feature cast aluminum baskets, neodymium motors and 4” diameter voice coils. All the drivers feature Neodymium motor structures for the highest efficiency to weight ratio.
Constructed from premium selected 15mm Baltic Birch plywood, the AT212-MK3 is created to stand up to intense usage. The cabinet is finished in an extremely rugged, black polyurethane coating. Drivers are protected by a black powder-coated, perforated steel grill, and the amp is recessed into the back of the cabinet for protection from damage, direct sun, and moisture.
The 80 x 60-degree rotatable horn offers coverage for multiple applications including ground stack and horizontal or vertical flying. The AT212 cabinets can be combined in arrays of 3 or more cabinets. The horn can be rotated, and the boxes packed side-by-side to form arrays that cover 90, 120, 150, 180 degrees and more.
Designed for incredible sonic clarity and tremendous performance, the AT212-MK3 delivers the output only line arrays can typically achieve but is a much friendlier to deploy point-source solution.
