Okay for the little ones

Product Review

I bought this keyboard for my four month old grand daughter....She had been sitting in my lap hitting the keys on my midi controller and watching the spectrum analyzer. I wish i had spent maybe fifty more bucks and bought a more proper beginner keyboard. This one is too much like a toy in every aspect. i wouldnt use it for a beginners keyboard. I will let my four month old use it however as baby drool probably wont affect it much.

Travel Keyboard

You know if this keyboard is designed for toddlers it's gonna be tough...I am learning to play the piano and have hauled it with me all over the world. It is so much fun...maybe when I get really good I can break it out and we can sing songs on the crew bus headed to the hotel.

I love it's portability. I haven't used many of the other features yet, but I do have a love/hate relationship with the metronome.

I love that it runs on batteries and the seem to last a while. I travel to different countries and it's nice not to have to bring an adapter or a big ol' power supply for it.

I think the tone is fine. It's not a baby grand people!! It's a fun, portable keyboard....

Your general opinion of this product.

I love this keyboard. I have been looking for a good travel option for a while. I tried the roll feel. I tried a 49 key regular size...too big. This keyboard is perfect. I sit my Ipad and the keyboard on the bed and go through my learning software...FUN!

If you a haul this keyboard like I do, you need to find a case for it. I took a folding lawn chair tubular cover and cut it down to make a cover. I wrap the keyboard in fleece before I put it in there. But I have still managed to pull up one of the keys be careful.

I;m sure you can tell by this review that I'm a big fan of this keyboard...whether kid or adult...I think you'll love it and it's a great value!

Harlies First Notes

yes it is well made and despite the many times it has been dropped and dragged and it still works properly, I would say it is very dependable.

For a child, I think is would be helpful if it had symbols on each to give them something to remember there favorite instrument or theme such as the country music option have a cowboy hat on it.

For me it took a little while to manuver around the many options on it but for harlie, each button only brought more joy for her and making a joyful noise to her was but a key away and it doesn't matter which key it is.

Great tone

Total suprise for me and Harlie. Her little face (18 months old) was worth the money and the time looking for the perfect gift for her but her face when she played her first keys was absolutely priceless. She carrys it around with her or should i say she drangs it from room to room with her like she thinks is will disappear.

yes it was.

Very much so

Seems to be very durable, especially for the 8yr old it was purchased for. Accessories was a great addition.

Surprised! Purchased the non-factory sealed. Where???? Couldn't tell any better if I would've picked it off the store shelf. Found site accidentally while searching for this specific item. Shipping was right on time.

great value for the cost

For my purpose, perfect!

Great design, compact, attractive, sturdy. I have absolutely no complaints.

Overall size (i.e. small and compact), musical range, effective volume control. I have been looking for exactly this kind of keyboard to learn songs and this one exactly fits the bill. Am NOT using it to learn to play piano, which I already do, but I don't own a piano. The various other features are fun to fool around with, but for me, basically a frill.

Extremely easy. I used it immediately and tried out all the options.

For an instrument this small, it's clear and true.

Absolutely! I bought "dent and scratch" but it was pristine, though not in the original box. Totally satisfied customer.

Great learner keyboard

I was very pleased with this little keyboard. I didn't need it to do anything fancy, but the features are very easy to use and to understand. I've had it about a month now and it hasn't given me any trouble.

A simple feature is one of the best ones: a headphone outlet, which allows me to practice without irritating others! It would be nice if the keyboard came with its own power supply, as I had to order that separately. The programmed songs and sound effects are not cheesy at all, which was a very pleasant surprise!

Setup was incredibly easy, and the manual is very straightforward...a far cry from old VCR manuals in "Japanglish"! The keyboard itself has knobs and buttons that actually make sense, so I didn't have to refer to the manual very often.

This keyboard has fairly good tone, although it is distinctly electronic. I wouldn't mistake it for an actual piano, but it is realistic enough for learner purposes.

The action on the keys is even and good, but be aware that the keys are not full-size if compared to a piano, so adults might take a little time getting used to the smaller scale.

This keyboard has good value for what it is. It is more substantial and better made than a roll-up portable keyboard I tried and returned to another company.
