Product Description

In its 65-year existence the Gretsch Jet has been the hallmark sound for iconic players. The all-new G5230T Electromatic™ Jet™ FT Single-Cut Electric Guitar with Bigsby® captures that essential Jet power and fidelity at an incredible price!

Chambered Mahogany Bodies - Loud and Clear
Classic Jet tone begins with a chambered mahogany body with maple top that produces full lows and mids with an exceptionally smooth and present high end. The result is a deep acoustic foundation that is robust, yet balanced.

Black Top Filter'Tron™ Pickups - Quintessential Power and Clarity
Black Top Filter'Tron™ pickups amplify and accentuate the Gretsch Electromatic Jet FT's chambered body to produce a wide, balanced and transparent tone. Loud and punchy, this Jet sounds out with remarkable definition at any level of gain. Together, the body and pickups thunder with full, responsive lows and mids with a high end that sparkles without spikes.

Total Tonal Control
The Gretsch Electromatic Jet FT electric guitar is equipped with essential features that give you complete tonal control. The combination of individual pickup volume controls, master tone, and master volume with treble bleed circuit provides intuitive global control over your pickup and tone settings.

Graach continues making great guitars without breaking the bank

Product Review

This is the second Gretsch Electromatic I’ve owned, the first being a double cutaway. Not only is it a sleek looking guitar that harkens back to the days of the early 60s but it sounds fantastic. I don’t know how Gretsch does it at these prices! Multiple tone controls make for a variety of sounds while a sleek neck profile makes this an easy guitar to play - you won’t want to put it down. A beautiful instrument.

Arena Tones On A Garage Band Budget

Product Review

Without a doubt one of the best bangs for under 600 bucks you’ll find. The guitar simply rocks. I almost didn’t buy it because I couldn’t believe a guitar this affordable could sound this good without some sort of catch. I kept asking to demo more expensive guitars thinking that surely I’d need to spend at least $800 to get something decent. But I kept coming back to this one. The feel, the tone, the looks all made me a believer. The slightest bit on the heavy side, but worth the workout for the price. And Gretch quality. Give it a spin if you get the chance.

Much nicer then I was expecting for the price!

Product Review

This is an excellent guitar for the money! Right out of the box the guitar was setup well and was comfortable to play. The fit and finish on my Jet was top notch and is up there with guitars that cost twice the money. The hardware on the guitar is of good quality and should hold the test of time. I have small hands, and I find the thin U shape neck of this guitar to be quite comfortable. I made minor adjustments to the neck and string height to make the play ability perfect for ME. The body is well balanced and comfortable, I can sit and play this guitar for hours! The sound is... Well... It's a GRETSCH, so it has that awesome Gretsch tone!!! I play thru a Marshall CODE 50 amplifier and found the guitar sounded well when played with heavy overdrive as well as it does with clean settings. The Filtertron pickups in the jet are crisp, clean and very quiet even in high gain settings.

First guitar and love it

Product Review

I can’t put this thing down it seems to beckon me to want to play it. It’s a nice mid range priced guitar that sounds great and is easy to play. My friend who is a long time player of guitars picked it up a few days ago and really loved the way it played and sounded. I hope to get a lot of use from it it’s a great instrument

Gretsch newbie.

Product Review

I could never get to like a les Paul. Owned 3 and discarded them. I love this guitar! Blacktop pups are my new favorites. Very nice craftsmanship and weight. I am going to try stringing it over the retaining bar to see if the Bigsby b5 softens a bit but other than that it’s a very nice guitar.
