Great buy!

Product Review

I was skeptical going with the 108 instead of the 112 but was immediately impressed when I plugged in my Line 6 Firehawk! I was running it thru a Fender super champ head and an orange 112 cab w a Celestion vintage 30 speaker. The FRFR108 was definitely more neutral sounding and I feel it exhibited the best sounds of the Firehawk without coloration. It definitely is loud enough for home use and I’d venture to guess for small gigs. I think for my use (I’m NOT a gigging musician) that the 112 would’ve been massive overkill. I rarely turn the 108 past a third of the way on the volume knob. VERY happy with this purchase, especially at the given price point!

A mini PowerHouse of a speaker!

Product Review

I have been evolving into amp modelers and settled on the Line 6 Helix. My goal was to replace my old Marshall stacks with a lighter, easier to transport, and flexible rig. I first paired my Helix up to an EV ZLX powered monitor. Tons of volume and great sound but when I used 2 of them I was still hauling around a lot of gear. I started looking at the Headrush FRFR-108. This model is light and easy to transport. It is LOUD! I am now using two of the Headrush FRFR-108’s with my rig. Love it

Exact duplication of sound from my modeling amp.

Great reproduction of the sound coming out of your modeling system, I gigged with it. Easy to use for front of house. Very loud to use in live settings too.

Great sounding and lightweight!

Product Review

Small footprint, big sound. Has multiple connectivity options. Plenty of bass response and does not overly color sound in any way.

Don’t overlook this little beauty!

Product Review

I originally was set on getting a Line 6 power Cab, since I use a Pod HD500, and a JTV-69 Variax as my new setup. I lead worship a lot at my church, and use to use a 212 valve tubed combo amp. But it was way louder than I needed it, and the weight of that amp is not fun lugging around every where. So I wanted something small, light weight, and loud enough for me to at least hear on stage to give me that live feeling you get from an amp. Since I started to go DI to front of house to make things easier for myself. The FRFR 108 in my opinion is a steal, I am very pleased with the portability of this speaker is amazing. Before I would have to make multiple trips to my car to get all of my gear out. Now it’s just one trip and I’m all good to go. Things I love: Price point is spot on! The power is more than enough in a small situation, band rehearsals with a drummer or maybe club type gigs with no PA. Weight and portability 10/10, I love not carrying around a 100 pound amp and still having awesome tone coming from the FRFR 108. Things to consider: You may have to shape your tones a little more to fit this amp, as from my experience there was a lot more mid range added to all my tones. So it’s an easy fix by just adjusting the EQ on your tones to match your liking through the speaker. But ones you find the sweet spot.... it’s awesome! I immediately wanted to sell my combo amp after hearing this thing on stage. Why break my back when this sounds just as good and only weighs 19lbs. And cost a quarter of most amps. Just know, this things is going to put out what you put in. If you take time to shape your tones and can adjust and adapt to it in the beginning. You’re going to get the most of of this thing and really be pleased with it. But if you just want to plug and play, you may not be entirely pleased and unleash its full potential, since you may find some of your tones sound mildly different. Due to the speaker having a lot of low and mid range. But making adjustments, you can make it sing beautifully from sparkling cleans to heavy metal distorted tones. As I use those type of tones and everything in between. For the price, I recommend trying it. The other guitar player at my church heard this thing. And had been wanting to make the switch to his Firehawk pedal board and drop his amp as well. And after hearing what it could do. He was convinced as well. It truly is hard to beat for the price and it’s size.
