Product Description

Nita Stauss has always choosen Ibanez as her go-to weapon of choice since the beginning, inspired by her heroes such as Steve Vai and Shawn Lane. Now, one of her biggest dreams have come true - her very own Ibanez signature model.

Born and raised in Los Angeles and brought up by a musical family, Nita has been surrounded by music her entire life. It was only a matter of time until she picked up the guitar, and she has never looked back since. After years of touring the world and establishing her name in the LA rock scene, she joined Alice Cooper’s band in 2014. Since then she has become a household name in the guitar community, captivating audiences all over the world with her virtuosic chops and electric stage presence.

The JIVA10 is based on the S series and features Nita’s own personal touches, such as her signature pickups by DiMarzio and the special Beaten Path fingerboard inlay. The guitar’s finish was personally named by Nita as Deep Space Blonde, which is a gray burst on a natural Quilted Maple top. Nita named the guitar JIVA, which translates to one’s soul, a word found in Asian religions, and one that has a deep personal connection with Nita as well.

The finish is absolutely insane. I found not one mess up on the body and neck of the guitar. The frets and neck are extremely comfortable making slides easy. The whammy bar is a collard bar I personally like a screw in whammy bar but she does crazy stuff with it like picking the guitar up by the whammy so I won’t break hopefully. It has glow in the dark feet markers that are really dope. Love the guitar one of my new favorites.

Reasonable Price

Product Review

The fit and finish of the guitar is very good. There’s a bit of debris left in the hole for the amp plug that was sealed in, but overall the guitar is well made for the price and parts. Considering that a similar Signature guitar made in Japan would cost quite a bit more this is a good compromise. From what I understand, Nita Strauss uses an off-the-shelf version so that’s enough of an endorsement for me to try a made in Indonesia guitar.

Worth every penny

Product Review

To me this is the perfect shred guitar, but it's really quite versatile and can handle any style you throw at it. For me it was perfectly set up from the factory. All it needed was a fine tuning. The sustain is off the charts and the neck is fast and slick with perfectly finished frets (no rough edges). The Edge Zero II bridge is like no other I've played before. Congrats to Nita and Ibanez. This axe is a home run!

A winner!!!!!!

Product Review

Once again Ibanez has hit it out of the park with this guitar. The build quality and feel right out of the box is second to none for the price. This thing will blow the doors off anything from Gibson or PRS that will change twice as much or even more.
