    Product Description

Incredibly dynamic audio, powerful output, and great reliability all in a rugged and lightweight design! The JBL PRX735 3-Way Powered PA Speaker takes the highly successful PRX Series to the next level with 1500 watts of power through a 3-way design including a 15-inch woofer and 1.5-inch neodymium compression driver. Another great feature is the Differential Drive technology which incorporates lower mass in the ferrite magnet for reduced weight while maximizing power amp efficiency for greater heat dissipation and increased power handling.

Powering the JBL PRX735 active loudspeaker is a 1500 Watt high performance, exceptionally low distortion tri-amplification system engineered to deliver clean power with maximum headroom to efficiently deliver smooth high frequencies and rich, deep bass response even at very high sound levels. Compact, ultra-lightweight, the PRX735 uses JBL’s tour tested technology throughout so you can trust it to deliver a lifetime of reliable performance.

    High Performance Drivers
The PRX735 features a 1.5 inch annular polymer diaphragm, neodymium magnet compression driver resulting in crystal clear highs and sonic accuracy. Wide coverage angles are achieved without compromise and harmonic distortion is minimized for maximum driver SPL without harshness.

    Low Frequency
Tour tested Differential Drive technology delivers extended frequency response, high power output and low distortion in a dramatically lighter package. With the ferrite magnet positioned inside the dual-coil/dual-gap voice coil, heavy steel pole pieces are eliminated. The heat sink is the chassis itself, further lowering system weight while ensuring consistent, reliable performance.

Highly efficient Class-D amplification drives Maximum Sound Pressure Levels are the best indication of the performance of a powered speaker and all PRX735 speaker excels in this critical specification. JBL’s ability to maximize the speaker and amplifier performance guarantees ample power, accurate dynamics and sonic purity.

    Road Tough Construction
Built from a combination of 25 mm (on the top and bottom for added rigidity) and 18 mm, strong, light-weight poplar plywood made structurally sound with tongue and groove joints. JBL’s tour proven DuraFlex finish, grills from dent-resistant 16 gauge steel, and light-weight glass-filled nylon handles ensure strength and durability. All M10 suspension points are constructed from 14 gauge steel and have been tested with a yield-strength of 1000 lbs. each.

System coverage of the JBL JRX735 is 90 degrees horizontal and 50 degrees vertical with excellent coverage throughout the system’s bandwidth. The sound is smooth and consistent without hotspots so control is optimized.

The PRX700 Series is a platform technology with a range of models that integrate seamlessly for multiple system options that excel in challenging audio environments and loud volumes. Perfectly capable of reproducing high fidelity full range sound without a subwoofer, add the PRX718XLF subwoofer for exceptional low frequency extension and sound pressure.

Great speaker...very loud full sound..i dj w them 5-6 times a week.only issue is the cabinet wasnt made based on the power of the speaker...after one use it started rattling inside...it still does rattle but u have to be behind and up close to hear it....so i still use them and the crowd doesnt hear the rattle. Its a very powerful speaker tho and the crowd notice a huge difference from the Yorkville p550 i was useing

First use in club went well.
What is your opinion of this product?
These things are worth the money. They are lighter then anticipated which is a good thing, but still very solid. I gave 4 stars only because there is no pole mount on bottom. You have to set them on something. I wish thy would have added that feature for smaller clubs where subs are not needed. Other then that, I'm very pleased.

    Not 5 stars as I originally stated { maybe 3stars}
What is your opinion of this product?
Loved these at first as you can see from my earlier post. I have a high energy rock band, and after several gigs i started hearing rattles and buzzing coming out of the back panel.{ not the speakers} A service center replaced the two cheap fans and it quieted down a good bit. After a few more shows, the rattling was back and sounded like different places in the very cheaply built housing of the speakers. IMPORTANT. This buzzing could mot be heard at a live show, only when I played my piano in my basement, but it bothered the hell out of me. I refuse to pay over 2K for cheaply built speakers. I took a huge $ hit on a trade in for the QSC153 and thank God I did. They are the real deal. They actually sound better across the board lows to highs beautifully blended. My piano sounds immensely better across the keys and the vocals, just EVERYTHING sound so much better, which I have to say shocked me,because if not for the rattles and buzzes, the JBLs do sound really good for a band.QSCs win !

What is your opinion of this product?
I get hired to provide pa equipment for live events, and these jbl prx735 are amazing, they sound perfect and very very loud. the bass is great the highs are equally impressive, yes they are a bit heavy but who cares we know they're not made of cotton candy when you buy them. and i wouldn't trade them for any other brand.

    Great speaker ? Great Power
What is your opinion of this product?
I have a high energy rock & roll band and I bought the 735's about 2 months ago. We have performed a few times in small to mid size clubs with absolutely fantastic results. Clear crisp mids and highs with a nice low end, and that was without a sub. We used the boost mode. We had a larger venue last night. 7000 sq.ft. Gym with 40 ft ceiling. My drummer brought 1 Yamaha DSX15 sub and we filled the entire place with extremely excellent sound which several people commented on after the show, including a couple of musicians. I was running the cabinets at 1 o'clock and my A&H board at less than 0 DB {unity} I was concerned about the cement floors and walls, and with sound bouncing all over the place. I sing lead, but I went out to the back of the room so I could hear our female vocalist and it was absolutely powerful.. At the end of 4 hrs the panels were still cool !!!! The new fans and auto-sleep mode during breaks {no signal } really work fantastically. 5 STARS TO JBL !!
