What is your opinion of this product?
I've read many reviews and comparison tests on cables, both inexpensive and expensive. The general consensus is, cable quality matters, up to a point. I believe the longer the cable, the more important it is to purchase quality, but, in general, a good inexpensive cable will work as well as an expensive cable. It also depends on usage. I'm not a pro musician so I have no way of judging how well any cable will hold up on the road. I also believe the difference is in one's ear, that is, which cable sounds best to you. The trick is knowing which reasonably priced cable to purchase without spending a small fortune for the sake of comparison. The Planet Waves American Stage Guitar Instrument Cable is a very good, inexpensive cable. I don't see the point of purchasing anything else. No noise, well-built,lays well, and rolls up well. If there is a better cable, and this is subjective, one will have to pay much more to own it.
