    Product Description

The PRS Paul Reed Smith S2 Mira Electric Guitar yields a tone and feel that is all PRS with outstanding US-made quality at an incredible price! Crafted in the same Maryland factory as all US-made PRS instruments, the S2 Mira displays the incredible craftsmanship we’ve come to expect from Paul Reed Smith. Dual humbuckers, an understated, refined appearance, and a super comfortable feel makes the S2 Mira a guitar you won’t want to put down!

PRS outfits the S2 Mira with an all-mahogany body and asymmetrical, beveled top which helps give it an explosive tone. Rich overdriven rock tones can be achieved as well as punchy clean tones that you can’t find in higher-output guitars. The bridge pickup is rich with some sparkle and substantial but tight low end, while the neck pickup is a little darker providing great balance and vintage tones.

What is your opinion of this product?
I owned an SG Special in 1970, probably manufactured in'69. It was similar in many ways. I always considered that SG the best instrument I'd owned, and it's the guitar I most regret parting with. The Mira replaces the SG and then some. Gibson doesn't offer mahogany of this quality in my opinion.
