I was apprehensive about purchasing this light as it cost over a thousand dollars but I wanted and needed a new light for my show that was better than the lights I already had, something that would blow the audience away. I found exactly what I was looking for in the ADJ Focus Spot 4Z Effect Light. This is 100% professional quality, as good as you would find in any arena. It doesn’t get as hot as a Halogen Bulb light as it is LED but you don’t sacrifice brightness at all. Even in a partially lit room, the gobo images and colors pop. If you want to program your own show you can and seriously you can fine tune it to the smallest detail, but it comes with several pre programmed shows if all you need is something to quickly bump up your lighting rig. I love this so much I’m going to get 4 altogether.

Easy setup, very light and bright fixture: everything I'd hoped the last ten things I bought would be!
Excellent color, gobos and prisms. Focus/zoom is a little light but still functional. All in all a great unit.

Purchased for live stage performances as well as some film productions. When shopping around, I was looking for brightness and LED to not have to worry about changing bulbs. The unit so far exceeded my expectations. It had no issues pushing through with houselights and sunlight still shining before the event. Also, the size is perfect. It’s not too big and also doesn’t seem like one of those other smaller toys out there. It looks and moves like any other pro unit in the industry. I was nervous about fan noise since I’m also into film/video and I was happy to find there’s a setting for that. So far, I tried but still couldn’t find anything to complain about this unit. In the end, it’s just an amazing fixture at that price point with that much power and features.
