This is the ideal mixer for your home studio setup. Connects nearly effortlessly to your computer through USB. The connectivity is superb, no latency, clear, excellent sound. Allen-Heath has a unique sound all its own and once you mix you will understand the difference. Studio-like quality and easy to use controls. I have used many different mixers for my home studio but I’m hooked on the ZED.

I bought the Zedi8 to record podcasts and voiceovers...and I'm blown away by the quality of this little USB mixer. Its preamps and converter run circles around the the sound of the Scarlett 2i2. In fact, not only do I own the Scarlett...I also have the Mackie Blackjack and the M-Audio M-Track 2x2 -- none of them even come close to the audio quality of the Allen and Heath. It also sounds better than the Mackie mixers I've owned and used, even though the Zedi8 doesn't have FX (of which I would never use, anyway). If you're unhappy with the preamps of the Scarlett interface (among others), upgrade to the Zedi8. I promise you that you'll be as impressed as I am. This is an outstanding, well-built USB mixer from the pros at Allen and Heath.

I like their mixers because they are made to last and with highest quality around. Everything they said in the description is trustworthy and i am 100% satisfied with the mixer.This one comes with cubase light version software as well i think its worth $100 just for that. Very good buy.

This mixer is a great tool for DIY recording and house mixer. Very cheap and work well with iPad, Mac and PC.
