I wanted a nylon string that had a quality tone but wouldn’t break the bank.
First class craftsmanship packed with some excellent features like the arm rest & the LRBaggs pick up system.

I really like my guitar. Arrived quickly and in great condition, can't complain. The setup seems to be very good right out of the box too, so I was able to just start playing and enjoying. When looking around, I was really drawn to the armrest idea and it really does make playing easier. Feels very comfortable. Overall, very happy with the purchase. The sound quality also has exceeded my expectations. Beautiful tone. Bass sounds good and the highs are crisp. More so than I thought I'd be getting which is a plus to me. Action feels good and it's really a joy to play.

I've probably worked for a couple+ of Alvarez dealers over the last 40 years, and I have never been more disappointed upon opening a guitar box.Nut out of line, frets un-level, neck set crooked(?), strings tarnished (shall I go on?) Just a total piece of garbage. Oh, and sounded like it was made of plastic. I don't get it. What happened? Returned it immediately.

I love my Alvarez CC7HCEAR! The acoustic sound is incredible, and the arm rest is very comfortable. I am looking forward to trying out the electric features.

I love mine. it's a solid guitar beautifully made. it's not heavy. mine sounded really bright at first but after the strings break-in the bass really comes out. what I love about mine is it stays in tune. gold star and a thumbs up from me.

Was looking forward to a nice quality Alvarez all week and received a guitar with sharp fret ends for over $600. Now I have to take it to a luthier and pay more money to sand down the frets and hopefully not get into the neck of the guitar. Very disappointed.

The Alvarez Cadiz CC7HCEAR Classical Guitar is a wonder to hold and behold. It is light but very solid. The finish is smooth and flawless. The tone from the hybrid nylon strings is amazing. Sustain seems to go on forever within the walnut and Sitka Spruce cavity. The sound is lush and warm. The L.R. Baggs electronics package is crystal clear and responsive. I am very impressed and very happy with this amazing instrument.
