I have been a professional musician for 50 years. I have played through many amps and without a doubt... the PF800 setup with the two cabinets are truly the best amp setup I've ever played through. Pure Ampeg sound, warm and bright. My go to bass is my 66 Fender Precision and the two together make magic. I'll never use another amp on the market... I'm truly a lifer and back to Ampeg

After searching for a new setup thru reviews and size it windle down to the Ampeg portaflex package with and i was not disappointing ...the sound is solid and powerful for such a small package that gives a punch...

I have been playing Ampeg in and off for many years and there is a reason why I always go back to using the products . I was a little nervous about playing the lightweight stuff but it has plenty of power and it sounds great!

I just bought this amp with the single 15 and used it for the first time at a gig and like it a lot. I normally use a Mesa Boogie 400+ with a duel 15 cab but find that hauling it to every venue is not really practical. I now have a very portable bass amp that sounds great. I look forward to using at my next session.

Not only did the cab flip it's lid, so did i!!
Had to remove the little handle things in the front to fit the head into the cab when flipped. Other than that it's awesome!
