This kit comes with everything you need to get going and mic your drums. (case, clips, mounts, mics)The D6 is punchy and represents the low frequencies better than just about any other Kick drum mic out there. Plus it's solid enough to use as a hammer... I probably don't recommend that but it just might do that job too. The i5's are great for so many different applications. They obviously sound great on snares and toms but as your mic locker grows you will find them useful for guitar cabs, bass cabs, and even BGV's in a pinch. They're just so useful! Hands down, best and most cost effective kit for the money. You can't go wrong with it... Unless you're buying it to refinish a 17th century credenza...It can't help you with that.
